#9 Scout MGE DM vs Scrim/Match DM in Q/A Help

Movement in mge is way different than in a real game. In mge you you dont have to worry about dodging projectiles and being unpredictable for hitscan at the same time. In a game though, you have to dodge rockets while also not giving scouts easy shots on you.

There are also some tricks you might be using in mge that don't work well in a real game. keep in mind that most scout 1st happen at close range when neither of them expect it and end fairly quickly. In mge though both scouts usually start off on opposite ends of the map and spend most of the time at medium range.

#17 Awkward conversations you've been a part of in Off Topic

Friday was pretty fucking awkward for me.

I tried to take a girl out on a date to some cute little crepe place, which would have been awesome except for the fact that it didn't exist anymore. Then later we were walking around downtown and being the smooth man I am, I decided to try and hold her hand. I'm 6ft and she's about 5'1, so her hands were about half a foot lower than mine. Instead of just bending my knees a little and grasping at her hand, I used one hand to lift her arm so that her hand would be at the same height as mine, and then grabbed her hand with the other. I'm not sure if I explained that well, but it was very awkward physically, and probably awkward for her both physically and emotionally.

Later that night I was hanging out with some friends and a couple girls that I didn't know at Ben and jerrys. the girls that I didn't know started talking about how their friend Mayra was going to homecoming with some guy named Angel. Then all of my friends turned to me and gave me that "oh fuck this must be awkward as hell for you" look because I told them that I was going with her. The girls then apologized and said "she must have meant that you're her angel!". I ate my coffee flavored ice cream very slowly that night.

Then when I got home my parents started asking me about this girl that I thought I was taking to homecoming. I just answered all of their questions as if we were still going together so that they wouldn't freak out and ask me more questions about it. Ok I need to stop talking about this girl because I think it's a little unhealthy.

#18 Most annoying thing in tf2? in Off Topic

in mge:
-counter-jumpers
-scouts that do that run backwards and pistol spam thing.
-when its soldier vs scout and the scout spends the whole game on the other side of the map hitting you for 6 damage shots.
-phrakture

in actual tf2:
people that take forever to get into the server for a pug/scrim/match
people that ready up and then unready really quickly.
teammates that comm useless shit
pyro
heavy
minisentries
the bleed effect on dx8
soda popper
every good roamer.
bad hitreg

#7 Different Sens for Hitscan and Projectile in Q/A Help

I use a 13 inch sens and main scout. I'm not the greatest jumper but I've never felt like my sensitivity has effected my jumping. You should be fine as long as your mousepad is wide enough for you to swing your mouse around comfortably.

#8 Have you ever completely shit your pants? in Off Topic

I just wanna clarify one thing. It wasn't really a shart, it was more like liquid leaking out of my butthole. There was nothing I could do to stop it :<

#1 Have you ever completely shit your pants? in Off Topic

I wanna hear the competitive tf2 community's pants shitting stories.

One time in history class freshman year I sharted and this really oily liquid came out. I'm guessing it was from the weird oily fish I ate the night before. It didn't smell too bad but there was a big wet spot on my shorts. It eventually started smelling so I tried to cover it up by putting soap all over the inside of my boxers and telling people that I slipped and fell in a puddle.

#9 Another chair thread, but different in Hardware

I bought a desk chair from ikea a couple months ago that I really like. I'm a couple inches shorter than you and most of my height comes from my long sexy model legs but the back is probably high enough for you. It doesn't have any arm rests but for me that's a good thing because I sit down and play guitar in it too, idk if the lack of arm rests would help you though. I'm pretty sure it was only $65 too. When I get home I'll check what model it is and edit this post.
