Martywhy is it always ascent? why not froyo?
Froyo are a better team in most people's eyes and thus a lot more people are willing to donate for them (that's why they reached their goal even without a showmatch). And another reason being that if they lost to a European team, it might not convince some American players who're not so into the scene to donate. Because they're deemed as the best team in the world.

Hi, guys.
First off, I wanna say that I know there's a HUD editing questions & answers thread but it's really hard to get an answer there, plus this is a really specific topic so I hope you'll understand.
To get to the point, I tried to create a custom Team Fortress 2 logo for my HUD as a VTF file from a png file created in Photoshop. The file loses a shit ton of quality though (which I wouldn't mind that much) and a white fringe appears.

When does a hud become its own?

You can opt for a compromise and call it something like rayshud violet or rayshud RainoofLight
Off topic, how can you change the colour of the Team Fortress 2 logo in the main menu? I know it has something to do with vtf files but when I tried it all I got was a black square.
