This isn't necessary and in-fact i think it should be reduced to like +3 since it just seems like a straight upgrade.
Or even remove this gimmick entirely as the passive bonus of no fall damage is really useful with very little downside.

Muukinice post except literally no team has good representing elo in faceit since there's close to 0 tournaments ever played on that platform in regards to tf2.
Well theirs the problem and hopefully if the new faceit beta becomes successful we wont have this problem.

The top teams should get byes to the first round so in the 1st round we should have faced a similar skilled team. In the first full round I agree weak teams should play strong teams.
irrelevant of our game the seeding was still incorrect as if i remember correctly Lowpander played AF very early on, when they shouldnt have met till semi finals
Idk how many times to explain to you but the seeding system uses faceit elo. If your saying getting so salty about losing to lowpander in the first game since if your team got a bye your would have had to play against a prem team the next game anyway. So if you want to play good games on faceit then play it alot so you have good elo.

Also the teams with the highest elo "Artic Foxes" and "Loli Squad" played in the grand final so in terms of faceit elo this system actually works. And the problem why teams like Lowpander had to play against artic foxes is because they dont have an accurate elo representing their skill level.

saamTraxgarte. If you can prepare for a LAN you don't even know its gonna happen like Rewind LAN, you could've also prepared for i61.
Preparing to go to an EU lan involves $1200 plain tickets, passports, pc rentals, general "forfeign country" trouble
Preparing for an NA lan is a $400 plane ticket and a hotel room.
