I think it's a half truth to say that -fragging doesn't mean anything.

+/- fragging a post is basically saying "I like/dislike this." If a post gets more than one or two -frags, that essentially speaks for the community as saying "we don't like this post." I don't believe that the +/- Frag system exists just for no reason.

There are some questions like "What's your sensitivity?" that pop up from time to time. Even if the regulars here know that the question is a bit misguided, most of us have probably asked it before.

If we want more people to love TF2, let's not give them shit for asking questions that we just assume everyone should know.

What about just adding a newbie section on the forums? You could just sticky the most frequently asked questions and the best answers.

I'm about 200 pages deep and it's not doing much for me so far. It seems like a lot of cutting off peoples' heads and young people getting the uh-oh feeling.

Michio Kaku's "Hyperspace" is the best non-fiction I've read so far this year. It's got some REALLY cool theoretical physics that's made as accessible as possible for the average reader. If you like to think about higher dimensions and time travel and parallel universes, Kaku can explain it as well as anyone.

It can be frustrating when you hit a point in your game where you feel like you're not getting better at the rate you're used to. Putting in the same amount of practice just doesn't have the same results.
