#1 Somebody made a spectating tool, where is it in TF2 General Discussion

If I'm unclear, I think I remember somebody made an automatic camera switching tool for streamers a little while ago. Unless I'm both high and very sleepy, I can't find the thread at all when trying to search for it. Anybody know what I'm talking about and can link me the thread, or am I taking crazy pills here?

#6 World of Warcraft: Warlords of Dreanor in Other Games

Saw it earlier, I can actually say I'm pretty hyped about this new expansion. It's like they added all of my favorite "What if they added..." speculator-y ideas. Give me a free 90 so I can instantly enjoy this new continent? I'll take it. Let me fight along side the most awesome characters in WoW Lore? Fuck yeah. My town I can create can have people that do dungeons and craft for me while I'm offline? Even better for my lack of time to enjoy the game. Can easily say this intrigues me and might even pre-order it after I see some beta gameplay confirming the awesomeness.

#112 Are you proud of being a (competitive) gamer? in Off Topic

I'm rather proud to have been in the first, maybe second generation of competitors to really make a wake in today's media. As the sport grows and grows and earns respect, it's a different feeling you get when you take a step back and look at this new perceived stance on competitive gaming. I have told my parents about my matches, not that I've done poorly or bad, but if we've won or not. It goes past my dad's head when we have dinner together and I get to talk about things, but it's cool that he can support me if I talk about it. He even supported me by taking me to my first LAN in Indiana, and he told my family about it and my family was pleased I did something. Didn't matter what it was, but rather I did something kind of worth merit with my time. My friends know (or at least the ones that are on my steam list, know I game for sport.) I compete and have asked me about it and I'm glad to tell them about it. Honestly, in public matters I don't care if I let out that I play a game for sport. I do other thins with my time that doesn't make me out to be a monitor-tanned troglodyte. I actually had blurted it out one time in class on the first day of high school. Nobody really batted an eye, got to talk about it and some people at my school thought it was pretty cool. Maybe it's just where I'm at, as my school was the center for competitive-EVERYTHING. We had top teams across the nation in anything you could imagine. I never had a thorough discussion, but people knew it existed because I went off n a risk and said it in class. At some point, I had regretted it and it made me feel weird because of the status of 'gaming' at the time, but has since changed, I feel fine. I don't see why it's an issue to keep the hobby to yourself. We live in different worlds though.

#28 Help with life please in Off Topic

Everything is worth learning, don't let any fuckwit tell you otherwise. "Oh it's not related to my career or what I want to do." Bullshit, learn everything you can, but don't cram it in or rush it. You're 16, not 60. Most importantly, Don't give up on studying. TF2 and other video games is not a lucrative profession, so don't convince yourself you can develop yourself enough to make money off of it. Don't sacrifice your education to play a pug or MGE or level in WoW. It's hard to motivate yourself to just do homework and skip leisure. I know, because I had the greatest attitude in high school that helped me keep a 3.7 GPA in a private school where I had no business or proper educational requirements to get into. But right now in college, it's hard to give a shit when nobody is pressuring you. You can do it, just remember always that your family is depending on you to not be a lazy bum.
