These will be perhaps obvious suggestions, but I own all these I personally enjoyed them. So if you by chance haven't played them maybe check them out.

Killing Floor / L4D2 - Both zombie survival games. Both player pretty different, and will probably be more fun with more than just 2 people.

Magicka - Awesome game, can be played with just 2 people. Very buggy game though, I can't actually get past the opening cutscene anymore, so take caution I guess.

Borderlands 2 - You should know what it is

FEAR 3 - Wasn't too bad. Definitely not scary in co-op, haven't ever played single player though so I can't give a comparison.

I think the 5-2 games like this would be a lot more exciting to watch if the winning team wasn't praised so much. Or the losing team wasn't called out so much. When there is action going on, it becomes far more exciting (and I think would retain viewer attention longer) if you simply cast what is actually happening at the moment.

Obviously there seemed to be a "skill" discrepancy among the two teams tonight, but I'd rather hear what the losing team could do to improve, rather than just hear that they are losing.

Just beware though, using -nod3d9ex will most likely cause longer alt+tab times. Reminiscent of how it was before Valve updated it and removed the alt+tab issues.

In my case, it also caused crashing about 5% of the times I tabbed out.

I used to use pixelvision, currently use metro though. I think I like metro more.
