Interesting how the idea of "exclusive" broadcasting rights were so heavily pushed back on when botmode released his essay. But yeah, its a good idea, it would also help attract more sponsors if we have 1 stream with a lot of viewers rather than 10 streams with like....20 viewers each.

I'd be suprised if any players were willing to make another substantial investment into another LAN in NA with flights and fundraisers etc, if all it causes is wasted money and headaches. This isn't the exception anymore.

Admirable courage to come out with this, let's take the fucking trash out now. Please never let any of the people involved with BTS TF2 ever touch any tf2 related event ever again, this whole thing has cost players nerves and THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS, on top of other staff knowing of dashners conduct and still tolerating it without speaking out.

connouWe’re down a couple grand in total between us, and I’ve got to refund $350 in donations. Thankfully, airbnb’s are refundable, but our flights, which were upwards of £400 each, are not.
This is the most fucked part about this. So many people are fucked, because their moey is now gone. Keep in mind that the BTS pushed teams into booking their flights ASAP to confirm theit attendance.
