I think the "Idea" of a universal TF2 League would be benefical for all parties in theory, more admins, more people, bigger playerbase and - more attractive for sponsors to sponsor a league with 10000 players rather than one league thats restricted to one region with 1000 players, its not a bad idea, obviously you'd need seperate divisions per region but that would still be better than before.

Merging all leagues would also result in a lot of head clashes, I can imagine league fees are going to be a hot topic of discussion, whitelists, maps, formats, theres a lot to get through to make something like that happen, but is it possible? Yeah obviously.

It's not ETF2Ls place to monitor whatever their players say or think about certain topics, ESPECIALLY when it comes to no names that just play in Low/mid, if this was a prem player that was known amongst the community, then I can see how you could justify handing out a ban, but with a nobody like this? In cases like these you should be able to redeem yourself somehow and be put onto like a "trial" period where admins pay special attention to you and just ban you for life if you continue shitty conduct like this.

I feel like everyone here knows that the time they spent on TF2 could have been much more valuable if they had spent it on stuff like Homework/Social stuff but at the end of the day, no time is wasted time if you had fun with it, it's just about balancing it properly. Is spending 120h every 2 weeks on a videogame a healthy choice? Probably not.
While playing this game I've made experiences and met people that will stick with me for years, and i'm thankful for that, even if, up until 2017, my social life suffered heavily because i would cancel on friends just to play tf2/scrims/pubs/lobbies

I don't regret my time here, it tought me a valuable lesson about balancing your time and what your time should be spent on, I would rather learn that lesson as a young kid where it can develop and fix itself once you grow up and have actual responsibilites rather than have it become a serious problem when im an adult.
