The first time I played him was in #tf2mix where he was literally playing competitive for the first time ever about 8 months ago. I come back and he upgraded most of his hardware and wrecks me, not to say that means much because I'm not that good. Easily upper mid player. Also he'll invite you to pugs at like 1am when no one else will.

I'm often miscalled as "Dr. Sensation" so I respond to that too.
Having just started college, I have way more time on my hands than I thought as I don't have classes two days of the week. After checking out the i49 Fragumentary I was inspired to pickup a new monitor and keyboard and really play TF2 more.
That said, I'm not ready to throw my education away to scrim every night and dedicate myself to a team on a starting position. I'm willing to backup on a team for scrims and matches for any class. I can play Roamer at a mid-open level and Scout, Medic, Pocket, and Demo at a low-mid open level (in that order of preference).
EDIT: After playing a few scrims and pugs I'm going to say that I am at the mid-, the lowest of the mid. Anybody else who says otherwise is being generous.

reillyTo answer your question though, you have to be very diligent about your work. Only you know your schedule. If you start doing your schoolwork the moment you are free from school or work, and you don't finish in time to play TF2, then you simply don't have time to play TF2. At that points it's up to you to decide what's more important.
