turtsmcgurtsdeetrtons of people I know think they play a lot of TF2 when they have 300-400 hours on record
yeah after playing other games i've realized that people think they've "played a game soooo long" while they're just approaching 1000 hours or something, makes me feel nerdy as fk :'(
it's like, nigga i almost got 800 in arma 3 alone as my "eh there's nothing else to play but I still really enjoy this game" game.
I think that it's a result of people playing too much single player. They enjoy playing Skyrim for 100 hours or Bioshock for 10 but they don't really play much multiplayer. Even people who play a lot of Call of Duty, which is relatively casual as a multiplayer game, end up logging a few hundred hours on each title. I think if the average person played more multiplayer then having a lot of hours on one game would be far more commonplace.
tons of people I know think they play a lot of TF2 when they have 300-400 hours on record
Is ESL prohibiting the usage of marijuana?
During the competition, we are. Marijuana is on the list of prohibited substances for during the competition. This means that recreational use of it outside (before) the event days will not be punished. Using it during the tournament - from the start of the first day until the end of the last day of competition - is strictly prohibited.
Doesn't n0thing smoke before every game? Might cause some problems for him, although he is already one of the most inconsistent pros so it might not make a big difference
BLoodSireDr. Who (all 8 seasons)
I think it's important to note that Dr. Who's overarching storylines tend to be really good even if you don't particularly like individual episodes, so give a few episodes (a season/2 if you have time) a go before giving up on it. I personally sincerely hate the majority of the last few seasons, but the long term story kept me interested enough to still find it to be a good show.
Also if you have only seen Moffat's episodes of Dr. Who and decided you didn't like it then you really need to go back and watch some of the earlier episodes in the reboot (season 2/3/4 were the best imo).
he could probably work if he wants $100, but if I could get free money without working there's no way in hell I'm not taking it
can't really blame him for seizing the opportunity
I think you can get a "highlight threads with posts since I last read them" thing if you pay
RivaTuner is an alternative to nvidia inspector, idk if it works for amd
Good luck with this, would be cool to see more up to date MGE style videos
THEBILLDOZERhttps://www.reddit.com/r/me_irl/comments/3ghbeh/me_irl/
its not /r/tf2 but i still felt it was relevant enough
idk that expanding this thread to encompass all of reddit is a good idea, there are hundreds of cringey reddit posts every minute. If the post is TF2 related and from another sub that's fine imo but just posting cringe reddit stuff seems like a bad idea
If you set your game to fullscreen 1920x850 and then use Nvidia Control Panel to stretch it to your monitor size you presumably get the same fov increase but it takes up your whole monitor (also making everything slightly taller?). Has anybody tested that?
Hearthstone is like a full on game but you can play it on mobile. Don't think I've touched another mobile game since it came out for Android.
I also enjoyed Game Dev Story quite a bit, beat it in one sitting
Edit: Appears to be fixed for me
I'm seeing no nerdstars on user pages and the text is really small in the user's post history
Same issue on latest IE, Chrome, and Firefox
Daredevil, Sherlock, House of Cards
BonafideOne of the biggest placebo's is people still playing on 4:3 because they're "used to it" it literally only has downsides and people keep using it, unless you really need it on 4:3 for fps it's dumb to still have it on
4:3 has the same "advantage" as using a lower FoV does: bigger models that are focused toward the center more. It's a preference of whether you want to see more or see the stuff you do see as bigger
