when they say old demos, how far back are we talking here? LETS DIG DEEP
i can assure you i'm not trying to get you worked up, this is truly how i feel about said genre, i'm very passionate about hardcore/breakcore/speedcore etc i really like the aggressive aspects of electronic music that is more european than anything (NY as well I.E industrial strength). i am quite envious of those that have the opportunity to attend festivals such as dominator, thunderdome(RIP), hardcore4life, defqon etc and i'm not biased at all in terms of electronic music that isn't aggressive. but honestly here in the states dubstep is just a trendy fad right now, and its just awful in commercial aspects as well. so when people start to bash gabber and other elements of aggressive music i just cant help but to laugh when they take dubstep so seriously it just shows ignorance in not knowing the roots of music at all
is this due to the lack of coaches? i know that was one of the issues but another one i think is the time you ultimately chose to host these mixes, friday night a lot of people aren't around, even more typical for people not to scrim on fri/sat but just to do the coaching in general may be a bit rough
TrathIn case any of you Euros weren't aware (live on a rock), there is a new web based pickup site where all European men live in harmony: http://www.tf2pickup.net
Edited to ensure peace.
you did mention IRC earlier, hmmmmmm what about the pickup2 channel thats invite only ran by byte and F2? obviously it's supposed to be for EU players div 1/2 and prem alike
and for NA we use tf2.pug.na and tf2mix, as well as the highlander channel and in house pugs are pretty popular nowadays, and EU does a lot of doublemixes as well (inhouse pugs)
so don't single us out, thanks for future reference
dubstep is just atrocious on every level, its watered down in every aspect, it doesn't have any timeless tracks that inspire, people aren't gonna look back on and say wow that really set the bar for a whole new level of electronic music. it's a copy of a copy of a copy, it's just a new trend for this generation to cling to and i'm sure it will fade away with all the other trendy genres that come and go.
you guys sure like house, you would absolutely hate the genres of electronic music that i dabble obsess over ;)
randoHow much for a signed picture of jimmy?
also close up's of the left_arm
sal's a bro, really improving every season. give him a solid team to shine !
well i can already tell this is gonna turn into a heated debate about what dm is all about, with that being said you now have 2 options. fogs servers or extv, if you don't like one then just play on the other or don't at all.
??????????? what is there to explain, you're honestly hurting my brain here
lets take a look at the ole drawing board
ok demo most overpowered retarded class in the game = yes
lets put 2 of them on the same team = no
reduced stickies, still deals a ton of damage irregardless of 1 or 2
do we play with 2 demos on the same team in 6s? no
do you honestly think your dm is going to improve or are you going to benefit in any way possible by having another demo by your side while playing dm? no
do we use 1 demo in 6s? yes
do you honestly think your going to improve by playing demo in dm? no
because that turns it into a shit fest, and defeats the purpose of dm
extv dm has become increasingly awful for obvious reasons, and fog is doing a great job of giving players the option of being able to avoid the gimmicky unlocks, 2 demos, snipers etc
