First and foremost Sal is getting paid back... I know eXtine set it up with the teams that they get to keep the prize money once everything/one is paid back...
Keep in mind, the idea here is to show solvency so that next year a real sponsor can step in and get the teams there so we don't have to beg you guys for more money.

Updating DM servers, expecting massive issues w/ SM/MM - might be days before they're working again.
I'll do everything I can to get them up and running asap for you guys.
I promise I won't charge you $1 to play on our DM servers.
EDIT: Confirmed DM is fucked, will fix this as soon as SM/MM is unfucked.

Effect of hardware on player ability

Biggest change I saw, hardware-wise, was going to a 120hz. monitor. Immediately got better at tracking and landing shots as a scout. Rarely played scout before getting that monitor. Not sure if it's placebo effect or not.
As a side effect, my level of bitching about ping, server fps, registration, etc went up about a billion %.
