Aliases confuse me...
Are we talking about Sakura on 6cuties? Or Doll on WeLoveAnime?
administration issues are their own thing I guess, but the client side of stuff isnt really something you can fault them for at this point
ESEA's product is dependent upon players using their client. If the client doesn't work, it's their fault.
bump for dis. should be fun, also ESEA-I on Tf.tv afterwards. Turn on some Tf2 and kick back.
That being said a league could probably rent 24 computers and a couple of servers at a pre eXisting LAN for fairly cheap.
Yeah that's pretty much what I meant. There's no reason a community league couldn't eventually afford that eXpense. Throw in travel costs for the players and a community run league could still raise enough capital in a few seasons to have a LAN finals. Especially if it's prioritized more over developing Prize Money.
There are a bunch of local LANs that could be co-opted as regional championships by the community.
It might take a bit of downtime to go from ESEA to regional LANs but as long as there are competitions and coverage, the scene could do fine without LANs for a little bit.
#16 nailed it imo.
Have fun everyone!!!
submit your clips is the answer.

still a chance to accept September Top 10 Demos (League/Tourney play) if you submit within the next few days.
Great article, skyrolla is a boss heavy. Thanks for the YT link in the article, we're gonna try to switch up some of the teams we're covering, but I'm sure we'll cast another Street Hoops game sometime this season.
Our pleasure! Should be another fun week of highlander. Lakeside is CRAZY. Actually some good subtle strats involved, as well as just good ol Koth Madness.
So far in 3 weeks of casts (this is week 4 of UGC) we've only casted these 3 teams. This is a fantastic matchup so it's pretty hard to avoid... We're definitely going to stretch out neXt week and check out some of the other teams in the league.
eXtv stopped casting for a while, now we're back w/ UGC HL casted live every monday and post-produced ESEA casts (once the season starts).
Top10 Plays of the Month has been coming out mostly on time for the last 4 months. I did August commentary a bit back, but Airon has been really busy. Coming out very soon though.

yeah, draft mode would be pretty awesome. I'd cast the shit outta that draft. Maybe do it on Saturday, so we can do scrambles on Sunday and people can see where everyone is at?
If we're in charge, we can set schedules that we like. No 10am start time for matches please. Scheduled group dinner would actually help us avoid having 3/4's of two teams present and waiting for 30 minutes... Then could also set a cut-off time Sat Night so we can get some dranks.
ETS is such an awesome get together for TF2ers. Tournament is fun, but its about more than just that.
I'd love to attend again... Could definitely be a possibility, but eXtv might splash out on some new gear soon, so I'm not sure how much resources I have. Tickets to montreal are eXpensive :/
Last year's situation with the organizers was very disspaointing. The community's organization two years ago was better in some ways. If we organized again then we could establish timeframes/plans that work for us... like a group dinner break at three brothers brewpub, or whatever that place was called.
