wish I could attend. Just starting a new job, they're down for giving me time off for eSports, but this is probably too soon...

I just came here to say that I approve of the capitalized X
<3
Extine can you please stop with the X please. Sorry.
While the Quick Fix might have necessitated a quick answer, why wasn't a captain's vote held about it with the results (anonymized) made public?
Sure, maybe teams weren't settled immediately after lan but the vote that was held only had 6 outta 9 teams anyways.
It's about consistancy to me mainly. If ESEA's admin's want to dictate the meta, then do it. If ESEA wants the Invite Captains to dictate the meta, then do it.
:D Now that I'm freeing up more time for eXtv/eSports stuff, maybe we will...
Another reason he banned the Quick Fix was because of the euro open starting. He didn't want to scare them away with the quick fix, because it wouldn't be close to ETF2L, and would scare them from playing ESEA.
The problem with ESEA is they aren't consistent.
If the team captains vote on the items, then let them vote on ALL the items. If the admins are deciding what weapons are being used in the neXt season based off of how they want the meta to look, then let them decide about what weapons are being used and don't even bother with a vote.
and where was the vote on the quick fix? If there was an eXplanation on fully charged about why Quick Fix was decided by the admins and not the team captains I missed it.
how is it determined whether a team is "not tak[ing] it seriously."?
Yyyaaoooo!
Thanks for throwing out the sideburn signal. Kip passing along the e-mail worked.
Unfortunately, I'm working wednesday night. offered to do post-produced coverage. will have a bit more availability soon, but mainly will be casting Mondays.
Why did ESEA decide to ban the battalion's backup mid-season (s9? idk which season it was eXactly) because it represented a severe change to the meta, but didn't follow that policy with the Quick-Fix as soon as Valve gave it a buff to a level that severely changed the meta?
If the quick-fix changes weren't enough to justify banning it mid-season, how come the traditional captain's vote for banning was disregarded? Will ESEA stick with allowing captain's to decide the meta? Or will the league admins be directly shaping the items used in ESEA 6s?
As a follow up on the same topic, do you think HRG's performance at i49 was influenced by the fact that ESEA allowed the quick fix?
Total war series has always been bad ass. I havent ran into too many of the AI issues with Rome 2, but apparently CA is planning on doing weekly patches, which sounds pretty nice.
I'm really pleased with some of the changes to the series made in this iteration. The cities seem to manage pretty well, and I like that you get bonuses for holding Provinces.
50 turns in (I think) on my Roman campaign. Pretty fun, senate stuff is kinda whatevs, looking forward to trying Sparta and the other civz.
I PM'd CBear, but I'm most likely down for consistently casting Monday Nights this season. Figuring out some work stuff, but not playing in ESEA this season so I have more availability.
tonari no totoro is awesome, mononoke dabes. Nausicaa also amazing.
had a press pass but couldn't make it up cuz of work stuff :/
