Pepzihave you tried linking your pc directly to the router? not using the socket i mean.
i've had some of these problems too and this worked for me.
it might be the socket
i live upstairs and the router is downstairs in a extremly awkward position so i cant really bring my tower down and hook it up

it sucks to see the trend of not really caring about optimazation on maps. was struggeling to get more then 100 fps on the new koth map when i get 200 average on mid fights

Comangliaoktober_i am wired, i get my internet out of a socket adapter though.
EDIT: It seems to be the pickup servers only that give me this high ping, i just rented and joined a vanillaTV server, which are located in netherlands aswell and i got 70 ms ping.
Just as an FYI you probably have interleave on, you might want to contact your ISP about that and have them switch you to a different Latency Path Type called "Fast"
i have had this horrible internet for years now, cant do anything about it. only had 2 down as of recently. only solution would be switching isp but my father can't be arsed. anyway, i still should get decent ping to the pickup servers considering that they are in the netherlands and i get 70 ms to every other nl server.
