The more you play, the more you expect from yourself, which makes you feel worse. Also, taking a break enables you to play in a more relaxed way.

profixDavidVegasI always do this to the HUDs that I'm currently using.

I find numbers to be distracting and annoying to see when I suck
For someone who hasn't done a lot with HUDs so far. Can you give me/us a quick rundown on the steps you make or some keywords I have to look out for when trying to edit a scoreboard to make it similiar to yours? That would be greatly appreciated! :)
+1
Also the net_graph is hideous, try this: http://teamfortress.tv/forum/thread/6326
atmoDamn, wish I could remember this command. It's responsible for hiding the numbers above entrances on cp_process second, too.
Yeah you're right, and it's been bothering me for a while :/

I love you, thanks so much!!
Hey guys,
look at this screen that my friend made: http://i.imgur.com/vuS2Bdj.jpg
For some reason the green arrow and the number "2" are completely invisble for me and I don't know why. If I use Chris' max quality config I can see them but I don't know the command that causes it. Does anyone know the command that's responsible for this?
Thanks in advance :)
Can somebody please explain the last jump to me? I can do jumps number 1-20 in 10 minutes but somehow fail entirely on the last one :(
Brown switches for the win. Love the middle ground between gaming and typing.
I just hope djc doesn't make invite, how is no one mentioning this? Love(d) him as a caster but he's by far not skilled enough for invite.
aimPut it in common/teamfortress2/tf/sound/ui
Wrong. Put it in "common/teamfortress2/tf/custom/hitsound/sound/ui". You can rename the hitsound folder however you want though.
SalamancerWell we obviously need a few showmatches with hideous pings.
Chessclub scrimmed IM once recently, pings were 200+ for the disadvantaged team. 5-0 and 5-0 on US server, 0-5 1-5 on Australian server... pretty meaningless if you ask me.
Oblivionagef_blueGo with something like this: http://geizhals.de/?cat=WL-60212I don't think OP is dutch.
It's a German site but you can recognise the parts just fine. Americans.

Horrible PSU: Never go under 80 Plus Bronze and make sure to buy from trusted brands (Antec HCG, some Corsairs, Cougar, Enermax, Seasonic). Don't even look at the price, you won't regret it. Really weird motherboard choice: If you go with the i5-3570K you should buy a motherboard that supports overclocking, I recommend the ASRock Z77 Pro3. Rest is okay I guess :)
Can't be arsed to use that site. Go with something like this: http://geizhals.de/?cat=WL-60212
Add storage (maybe a Samsung 840 SSD) and you're good to go.
Wow that's a really bad build...
What's your budget for the PC only?
If you need an hour for some jumps, you're maybe not a good enough jumper yet. I can show you the pogo into wallclimb if you want though.
