Version 1.9 Released!
Changelog:
-UI rework of popup panels to maintain consistency (style setting, training, store panels, etc)
-Font fixes on popup panels
-Fixed killstreak crafting menu not in same style as rest of HUD
-Slightly bigger font for menu notification panel
-Label fixes for MvM on minimal scoreboard
Mostly just menu fixes this update. Version 2.0 will be time for me to do more experimental things.

Change the RGB value of Damage Numbers in clientscheme.res, the restart tf2.
Did you change the font on the health cross or something?
Also, the file to change the ammo is hudammoweapons.res

Pushed an update with the flag panel on flathudRED - for some reason it was still using the old one.
that happened when I changed mat_phong to 0 on dx9
they changed the type of model they used. Before, stock weapons were on v_models (viewmodels). Now, they're changed to c_models, which use the actual world model for the player's hands (which means they had to change the viewmodels to accomodate with the world model). C_models are kind of like a combination of v_models and w_models (world models, aka what you see on other people).
This also seems to have changed LOD (level of detail) on the models (because c_models have the highest polycount, which is why the textures have changed).
Not exactly TF2 related, but you should find servers you ping less to - your game will be less laggy. Anything under ~60 ping should be good.
Most melee weapons, like the bat, are generally last resort weapons, whenever you run out of ammo and don't have time to reload. Oftentimes the only thing you can do with a melee is swing randomly and hope you hit the guy.
Valve really needs to start using their beta to evaluate and test changes instead of just randomly pushing these changes on people and then reverting them a few days later.
The actual color can be changed in clientscheme.res. The file for ammo in general is HudAmmoWeapons.res.
