#4 TF2 Stuttering in Q/A Help
trashopen up TF2 in windowed mode, keep task manager to the side as you play and have it sort by CPU usage (so the most usage is at the top)

whenever it stutters, you should end up seeing the process fucking shit up

I noticed that my CPU was working way too hard - 95-100% usage, along with 90-95% usage on my ram

Furthermore, my cpu was pretty hot- 53 C, which is super hot for what it normally is.

#1 TF2 Stuttering in Q/A Help

My tf2 keeps stuttering, especially when I have stuff like spotify on in the background.

Specs:
i5 4690k
8 gb of ddr3 1600 RAM
GTX 970

While I do maintain around 260+ frames, it feels terrible, like I am dropping frames.

#20 How to prepare for an college philosophy course in Off Topic
MarxistBasically what Marma said - you're going to basically cover a particular topic per week (usually starting with Plato or a broad survey of ancient thinkers) and just do a broad survey of Philosophy. You won't have to read or write anything overly complicated. Then the last few weeks you'll likely be subjected to whatever the pet project of the professor is (so whatever they wrote their Ph. D on lol).

If it were a 400 level course you'd want to actually prepare, but in general, you shouldn't need to do anything special before you get there for your intro course. But if you feel like you just don't know much about philosophy - this comic series is a pretty good intro to most of the ideas you'll be running into while also being funny at least some of the time: http://www.existentialcomics.com/

Since I am in high school, this course is only a 200-299 level (from what the counselor said).

#8 Windows 10 resolution issues. in Q/A Help

go into nivida control pannel, click on "adjust desktop size and position" (this should be on the left hand sidebar. Under the "Scaling" tab, you should see "Select a scaling mode" and then make sure "stretched" is selected. This should fix your issue.

#1 TF2 not downloading maps through server in Q/A Help

***FIXED THANKS TO SOME HELP FROM Wiethoofd***

About a week or so ago, tf2 stopped downloading custom maps when I connect to the server.

sv_allowdownload was set to 1, I can't think of any other reason why it doesn't allow it to download.

It just gives the "missing map "x", disconnecting" popup.

THE FIX: make sure your download filters are set to allow custom files and maps from other servers. This is located in your "multiplayer" settings in options.

BlitzoI found this channel interesting :

I've been listening to these for the past few days- but I'm not sure if these are as reliable as some of the readings/forums online.

#1 How to prepare for an college philosophy course in Off Topic

edit* **a** college philosophy course

Hello-

Thanks to a cool grant that my high school got, I am able to go take a philosophy course at a local college. I'm a pretty good student, taking a few APs, and I was wondering if there is anything I should know before showing up to my first class.

I've briefly skimmed over Plato's cave, Existentialism, and Epicurus, but I'm not sure if there is anything else I could do to prepare myself. Any advice is appreciated!

Thanks in advance. :)

#1 Selling ASUS ROG G750-JS in Hardware

Hello-

I want to sell an ASUS ROG G750-JS made in 2014. However, I'm not sure where or what the best way is to sell it. Does anybody have some suggestions? It was pretty expensive, and I know I won't get nearly half of what I paid for it, but I was just wondering what some outlets are that I can sell it through/to.

Thanks in advance.
