BobsledOne time i threw a potato chip at a black kid because it was lunch time and i thought it was funny. Apparently he was already super mad or something and he came over and started choking me out. Everyone told me i was laughing so i looked like a crazy person. The vice principle ran over and pulled him off of me and brought us both to the office. I thought that i was going to get a lunch duty. That's what usually happens when kids throw food or whatever. We both ended up getting suspended for 3 days....
My mom came in and tried to contest. She negotiated with the vice principle for the suspension to be lowered to 1 day. They told me i got suspended for starting a fight. I guess i did start a fight, but how was i supposed to know that this kid would go crazy and try and choke me? Lesson learned: People are unpredictable.

Well I don't work weekends so 3 days a year would be every lan for me. I guess if I worked weekends it might be more complicated, since I want to do other vacations too

blinKI'm a GM at a LA Fitness in NYC. If I was a part time pizza delivery guy or something that's a different story. You could just quit and get another pizza delivery job it wouldn't really matter. In the corporate world your boss doesn't care about your hobbies he cares about the numbers at the end of the day. If i'm not there the numbers won't be good and that's pretty much it. Also it hurts my own paycheck from commissions/bonus standpoints. I can't really complain because I make a good amount of money but that's how it is for me which sucks in regards to my love for video games. Hard having a real career and playing competitive TF2. Also after thinking about it i'd rather spend vacation hours having a real vacation in Cabo or something. Not everyone is in the same boat as me obviously but i'm sure there's some.
Smaka is really the only person in tf2 i've met that has a real career that can take off when he needs too. He has a good job. His damn beeper blows up 24/7 though lol
Now, where do the 4 of you work at?

if i was on a lan team i would literally take 3 days off a year at maximum for tf2. more likely I would work extra hours at te beginning of the week or only take a half day on friday

Question about dedicated and integrated GPUs

You should be able to set which card you want to use in the nvidia control panel. Right click on your desktop and select nvidia control panel. Should be in manage 3d settings or something like that. To make sure it is using the right GPU, you can download a program like EVGA precision and check your nvidia gpu usage while running a game. Should probably be something in the 90's unless your fps is capped.
