Well I took a semester off of college for an engineering co-op as a NASA contractor. I gave up having classes full of my friends for some work experience. I will have to pay for an extra semester because of how the aerospace engineering class schedule is.
I weighed the pros and cons and decided it was worth it. I did not take into account that I wouldn't actually end up working, wouldn't actually end up getting paid, and wouldn't actually learn anything.
So yeah, it kinda sucks.
edit: oh yeah, I moved for the position as well so I am also paying rent and utilities that I wouldn't normally have to for absolutely nothing.

FzeroBTW- I generally refuse to talk politics on a forum (unless I am drunk) anymore since Gotfrag, but the one thing I would like to point out that there is, very likely, enough votes in the house to pass with around 17-18 repubs that would vote for it. The only problem is that the speaker, John Boehner, seems to not want to piss off the tea party folks. (It should be noted that the last sentence is completely opinion. I do not know exactly why he has not called for a vote, since he has not spoken why.
He says he won't because there aren't enough votes. Well if that's the case, just fucking put it on the floor and prove everyone wrong. Oh wait, he won't because he knows the votes are there.

ToasterWhy do Americans make fun of Canada so much?
I've come to a conclusion that Americans are jealous. We are more peaceful than them, our dollar is worth more than theirs, etc.
Canada's poverty rate is 5.8 % while the poverty rate in America is 9 %
The best thing about Canada is the fact that when the American Indian tribes were removed off of their land, they had no where to go except West; and they were met by opposition but when some of the tribes ventured into Canada, the canadians government welcomed them
and gave them land to settle
The same thing happened to the black slaves( they were offered asylum and re-settlement.)
