But let's be cautious with hating on Valve, let's make sure we're hating the situation and not the devs themselves. Or, hate the higher level bosses/company culture etc, but remember the devs like Jill have wanted to do so much more, but just.. couldn't; no manpower, no help. There are indeed good people at Valve who did nothing wrong, and are as frustrated as many of us.

Not sure my craziest but when I was getting driving/parking lessons in the run up to my driver's test. At one point the instructor guy got out and was like okay try it on your own. And when he got out he just walked over to the Salvation Army church building whose parking lot we were using, and just started pissing on the church. Super awkward.

Based on what you posted, I wonder if you'd like Bear vs. Shark. They are an all-time favorite band of mine and have two fantastic albums that are not quite "screamo" but have a very similar sound to the album you gave.

As a bonus, lots of the songs are fun, and happy, and can bring up anybody's mood imo. They're also interesting enough from a musical standpoint that there's plenty for a music fan to love.

I actually quite like the way you described it - over time, the players and community were able to sculpt game rules and conditions around what made the game as fun as possible to play, and to watch, with minimal shitty parts.
