In terms of "open world" games, if you haven't put STALKER in your god damn computer you're fuckin' up. STALKER's gunplay isn't something that's easy to get used to, and you'll be doing a lot of walking, but there is a lot to do. That and modded Morrowind. I personally couldn't get into Morrowind too much, but the world, the characters in it, and the story around all of it is incredibly interesting to me and I'd probably end up giving it a chance again.

The stories I've heard about DnD are amazing. I've always wanted to try it but I live in the old people borough where usually enjoyable things enter a no fly zone.

You're going full-throttle autism over people who probably don't know how to draw in the first place and are most likely not native english speakers. They probably both google image searched for "Dota 2 heroes" in their respective languages and uploaded artwork they thought was cool to feel like they were giving back.

Post #4 looks closest to your problem. From what I gathered from lightly skimming it, it's something to do with the AVG toolbar. Post #15 says they used CCleaner to remove what was called "Browser Manager" and McAfee "hasn't popped up since".

I don't want to see this happen because people's feelings get hurt easily enough here, imagine how PC and "gentle" everything would have to be. Every time someone made a joke at someone else's expense or unleashed the good ol' trashcan, it would be labeled as "trolling" and beds would be shit all over the globe because of one hurt feeling.

I mean it's already starting to happen now.

Grab an Ubuntu distro, load it onto a usb stick (google unetbootin), and try booting Ubuntu from the stick and see if you run into the same problem.

Check that your RAM sticks are properly seated since you removed them already. Try testing each RAM stick you have individually. Make sure your motherboard is actually equipped to handle the RAM you have (this is much more common than it sounds).

Make sure your cables aren't blocking anything and are in solid.

Listen for unusual clicking near your hard drive(s).

Reset the CMOS battery if you can't think of anything else.
