Didn't Valve do something like that for Dota 2, or does that work differently?

If I can get a few words/questions in edgewise:
harbleuif the community doesnt want to play it then they will vote it out.
Harbl you know full well this already happened, yet it got shoved back into rotation.
harbleuJust because open/im medics get forced by bombers doesnt mean they're unlucky, it means they fucked up and should have positioned themselves better or had better movement.
With this line of thought, wouldn't having Gpit as part of something like playoffs instead of general rotation go a long way in terms of showing which open/IM team is ready for a move up? If Gpit is truly this map that is totally skewed to whichever team is all-around better, wouldn't it make more sense to have it as the deciding factor for teams of equal skill level instead of it being an easy 2-0 for an overall better team against a worse one? Sure the other maps have this issue too, but at least those end pretty quickly if it's a roll.
2sy_morphiendat the very least there is "artificial difficulty."
As much as I don't like Gpit, it is NOT the dog skeletons in Tomb of the Giants or pre-patch Dragonbutts. Fuck the dog skeletons. No offense, Munch.
Being a classic does not automatically make Gpit a good map, and I don't know WHERE people get this logic. It's a pain to prepare for and it's a pain to play on. Granted it probably works a little better for Highlander because of both teams having more than 6 players, but I would honestly contact Dorkster and ask him for the rights to cp_bunk, learn hammer, and polish that before another A/D map was considered in place of Gpit.

DICE has confirmed that Star Wars: Battlefront is not a sequel to Battlefront 2, instead it is the developer’s own interpretation of what Battlefront should be, according to EA Games boss Patrick Söderlund.
The problem with game sharing is that I can't think of anyone who hasn't played anything I own on Steam that's honestly worth playing. I want to see a "game donation" option where you can select some games you don't play anymore and give them to friends/strangers as hand-me-down gifts. In return the donator would collect tokens or points or something that would translate into future purchase discounts (15% off your next order, 40% off Game X, etc).
I guess the problem with that would be games that were multiplayer-only like Shattered Horizon that are completely dead or games NOBODY wants like Duke Nukem Forever (I PUT IT ALL ON DUKE FOR MY BIRTHDAY TWO YEARS AGO AND I'M STILL TRYING TO REBUILD MY SHATTERED LIFE).
I loved the alternating views when someone was making a play to show that the rest of the team was still involved.
These rhymes are REAL, too.
There's no "all of the above" option
Fzerowhy would a company hype something that doesn't even exist
To profit from gullible idiots (ie. anyone who has donated to any Kickstarter project at all) and impressionable children.
There's no such thing as a gaming laptop despite what idiots, Dell, and Razer want you to believe (with the latter two cashing in on the former).
I honestly like Slim's choice the most, and with the extra money you could grab yourself a copy of Win7, a 7200 RPM laptop HDD to switch out from that 5400 RPM one, and a laptop cooler (because laptops get fucking HOT when put under strain).
If you're not an Acer fan, there's this number from Lenovo:

Then there's this one from MSI:

Although I'm pretty sure the Lenovo is going to get hardware-destroying hot under load and the backlit keys are flashy and annoying, while the MSI one just has those two red lines on the back of the monitor that are supposed to look cool or something, although the standard 7200 RPM is a plus. The MSI one also plays blurays which is always cool.
Real talk bruv it's 2 and a half minutes of backstabs with the odd ambassador headshot, with at least half of them being the same kind of backstab pick on the medic. Quality >>>>>>>>>>>>> Quantity. Editing was A+, though. No ridiculous oversaturation, smooths only when warranted.
Make a separate video for bloopers or have just one really good blooper for the end, going back to quality > quantity.
I don't think reinstalling steam wipes your gamedata if you're just reinstalling the steam client. If you didn't change your install directory, look in your tf folder for the demos. If you did, see if a steam folder is still lingering in your old directory.
Took my math placement at Stony Brook yesterday. I really like the campus - even though the weather was shitty the rest of the campus was still aesthetically pleasing. It was nice to be on a campus with buildings that weren't old military buildings from World War II. I have no idea what their internet is going to be like but the dorms look good.
Any good events on the island, or am I going to have to hope my friends become less casual to have a fun LAN?
