#272 ESEA and CEVO in TF2 General Discussion

zephyrHigh level tf2 has been comprised of less than 20 people for a handful of seasons now. Saying LAN finals are NECESSARY for the game to stay alive is the biggest load of shit I've ever heard. Most of the action in the NA scene right now is everywhere but invite. Why should everyone else suffer for a couple of self-righteous pricks who think they're whats holding the game together. Go fuck yourself MR SLIN, invite's a joke now. If anything, I can see community driven LAN finals making the game improve in every aspect. Also considering that events run by the community gives access to literally anyone who wants to attend. Just picture LAN finals with maybe a hundred or so other community members, that would be sweet. I'm sure CEVO would back an event like that and give incentive to the douchebags who want prizes for their gaming expertise.

ToastyTHTRemember guys, mixup doesn't care that you payed a lot to help give them a trip to Dallas. They'll still mock you for 30 minutes for trying your hardest but not being good enough to win.

i can't remember the last time i received any donation money. i think plat may have had some sort of donation thing on his stream before but that was about it. as far as i can remember we have never made threads asking for money.

industThat rapid-fire shit was actually pretty fun and challenging. I kinda agree with Harb, but w/e it's not a necessary feature.
I'm also fine with the damage nerf but nerfing its heals was totally unnecessary, I'm gonna write an angry letter to Valve about that, you should too...

p. much this. no idea what valve was thinking with this update. even without the rapidfire glitch i would have kept using it, but with this damage/heal nerf its completely pointless. back to overdose i guess
