i've rarely had the client not work for me/teammates before in the past, the only time you mention it in your post is in point #1 (not even about your own team, but an opponent), but then claim that the client "doesn't work 1/4th of the time." also, ringers would be a massive problem in ESEA, considering the issue it is in UGC. it's not a solution, and would be a problem to the competitive integrity of the game.
as far as the worthiness of the league itself is, it's the only legitimate way to improve and become better at the game. it's the only league where teams actually want to win, and people take the game seriously. improvement isn't really rocket science, and i can give you some tips on how to get better. with that said, if you are getting rolled by mid open teams with three offclasses with 2 years of experience on UGC, you should really ask yourself if you want to get better at the game. any league is going to blow for a player who skill level is going to be near the bottom of the division, you either set realistic goals for yourself or stagnate. players around that skill level don't care/are awful teammates, which is why they usually stay there forever, so you need to work out of it.
top 8 rankings; https://pastebin.com/hu4bSP7a
we need a sub that can play tonight, someone who is already payed up.
lucrative was on kritz, mr_popo on uber, they paused and both teams instantly their charges with like a minute left for both teams
i really liked the psychedelic sound, and even though I've never been a cudi fan, he sounds great on this album imo. awesome album, wish it was longer though.
anyone want to make an essentials team or need players?
i think n3 had to take her anger out on someone that night after we beat her teams LITTLE BUTTS in scrims. weren't smacktalking then, were you? LOL!
see n3, take some notes and learn how to trash talk in a respectful manner (also take some notes from our team, because by defeating you in scrims, we have proven to be better than you!).
i went on a trip with a group of friends to a major city a couple weeks ago. this was the day right before we were gonna go home, and he eventually begged us to go check out this highly rated "weeb store." he lives in a nowhere state visiting a big city, so nothing like this exists in his town, so he really wanted to go see it. we had already spent a good chunk of money, so he was down to his last $100. so he goes to this weeb store, we were waiting in the car, and eventually, he comes out with this huge, solid bag, so we couldn't through. he explained when he got in the car; "there was a grab bag where you could get random stuff, so I decided to go with that." how much was it? $100. he pulled it out, and his random grab bag luck got him some hentai comic book, a sexually explicit figurine, and some other hentai dvd. he had $4 left after that.
ever since that moment, i knew anime was a disease, and i knew it must be stopped
my friend preordered Soundtracks for the Blind on vinyl, jealous of him.
their latest three albums are all really fantastic, which is kind of a shame, because it seems most people have only listened to To Be Kind and not any of their other material. both The Seer and The Glowing Man are great records that i'd really recommend. outside of that, i've listened to Soundtracks for the Blind, Children of God, and My Father Will Guide Me up a Rope to the Sky, which are all really good imo. with that said, their all super long and pretty repetitive, so it's hard for me to binge their albums. to be kind is probably my favorite.
i will leave a more in depth view later, but cardinal has some pretty blatant problems from my perspective that need to be addressed. with that said, i think it has potential to be more enjoyable than the worse maps in the pool currently like granary or metalworks, but some of the fixes might be too drastic to realistically be changed.
also, i agree with what most people are saying. every pug i play that's map isn't process/gully/snakewater, people immediately shit on it, call it aids, etc. and then a new map rolls around with a developer looking to improve on it and has potential to be as good as those three and people do the same thing and shit all over it. you can't instantly have good maps. either be content with the current map pool or actually provide feedback so we can get better maps. i don't agree with the method of "throw this map into esea that's rarely ever been played before" but it's probably the only way for people to actually provide constructive criticism.
bump. we need a sub that can play both scout and demoman at ~mid IM+ level. can pay for you.
i was bored this morning so I made some power rankings.
i think they should definitely be allowed to play whatever division they want, and I agree, this team probably would have formed even if Faint Gaming had not sponsored them.
with that said, it still feels kind of lame to see a sandbagging team that will clearly make top 2 be announced as some sort of hype and support post, especially when the leader who was on the invite team Faint, which died mid-season, is also on this one (who is also probably not the most liked guy in the game). idk, it's there choice, but I'm not surprised people are not supporting them, and it's for kind of obvious reasons, which makes this seem like they are just trying to turn a quick buck rather than build a supportable team. maybe I'm just salty, but that's my interpretation.
