ErenJaybuckweetI know, but I have no intention to play competitively, my time management isn't good enough to play video games on weekdays, so I am not really expecting improvement anyway.
No disrespect, but newbie mixes for a whole year? I think you're doing it wrong. Never going to progress in skill if you just keep playing with and against people who are brand new..
Save the newbie mixes for, well, newbies. It's time to move on to more advanced pugs.
Honestly, I think the problem is that he made a thread dedicated to his new computer.
2639 frames 19.867 seconds 132.83 fps ( 7.53 ms/f) 6.139 fps variability
2639 frames 19.838 seconds 133.03 fps ( 7.52 ms/f) 5.569 fps variability
2639 frames 19.861 seconds 132.88 fps ( 7.53 ms/f) 5.279 fps variability
Mean fps of 132.913.
Did this again because I got a new monitor (VG248QE). It seems like resolution has little to no effect on fps, but I'm pretty sure I heard that before anyway.
Not using my secondary monitor at the moment; I need either a new adapter for the secondary monitor or a DisplayPort cable for my monitor.
the301stspartanLet me know what you think of the color calibration out of the box. I would be interested to see if there's actually a difference between US-shipped and Euro-shipped panels or bewteeen individual models.
For anyone who has problems with the color management on the asus, I MIGHT have my colorimeter in about a week and will post profiles here then. It's like 180€ though, so no promises just now.
I feel like the colors are pretty good on mine.

My secondary monitor (to the left) is currently out of commission due to my new monitor requiring its former port (the DVI-I port) for refresh rates greater than 60 Hz. I only have a DVI-I to VGA converter for it.
would not watch, full of racists
ESPECIALLY SLIN
Are all the conferences in Open going to be rolled into one? Central and East can stand well enough on their own, but West is only slightly larger than Invite.
If the season won't start until the 20th, then there's no reason not to extend.
If it's going to start on the 13th, then it's too late. Probably is starting on the 20th though since the CSGO Invite poll hasn't happened yet.
but seriously I want a team
please
NIU_NIUIt's already transparent. The splash screen works independently from its background. Between the different mockups I've posted, the only difference between them is that I used a different picture for each one. Here it is (http://i.imgur.com/8cDrmHm.jpg) without anything underneath it. I'm not familiar with the process of streaming so I can't say whether it will work properly as an overlay, but right now I'm uploading the .psd file if you're interested in testing it out.
The image needs to be a PNG. JPEG doesn't support transparency. It should work properly with a transparent PNG.
Also, it looks very professional. I hope this design gets used this season. :D
Oh, I forgot about AM3 being forwards compatible with AM3+.
If your motherboard supports AM3+, then definitely get the 8350. It's not worth it to buy a completely new motherboard for maybe a little more performance in TF2 (and less for multicore processes).
