Anyone know if every TF2 installation on a computer has to be converted at once? I'd like to try things out with Steampipe but I don't want to be locked out of everything else.

I have an idea for a workaround. If we can't play music on a Twitch stream, why not stream your music somewhere else? It's really a horrible solution, but if it's the only way you can share music with your stream...

The only one I know of is Turntable, but it's flashy and you don't have complete control over the music. I'm sure you could get a bot to regulate some things, but I don't think you can stop people from laming a song. If there's another way to do this live like Turntable but more like traditional streaming, that would be the best option. (Edit: Forgot that turntable is US only, so it's a horrible "solution")

To the people that are thinking it's a Twitch decision: it's not. It's not their fault that the RIAA is forcing Twitch to do this.

Lightboost is supposed to only be used in 3D mode, but it was able to be hacked to be allowed to run all the time, but only on Nvidia cards. Now, however, you can use an AMD/ATI card, but you still need an Nvidia to turn on Lightboost. Honestly, I'm sold at this point, especially since I know personally what high refresh rates are like. Going to buy one of these in the next few days.

Also of note: Lightboost apparently only works with 120 Hz, not 144 Hz. I wouldn't think it matters much anyway.

Edit: I do have an AMD card by the way. I also should have a 9600 GT somewhere around I can use to turn Lightboost on.

I feel like it is not possible. You would need a 16:9 resolution, and if using windowed mode, it needs to be the same width as the monitor, otherwise TF2 will not use all of the screen, and you can't stretch the window (assuming noborder, don't know about with). Even in fullscreen this can be hard to get right; the auto-scaling in the Nvidia and AMD drivers don't always work perfectly.

When the TF2 market crashes, people will stop caring about cosmetics and start caring about being good at the game.

Thus, TF2 will grow as an e-sport.

Only public domain music can be used. This does not mean all free songs, even. Just because you get a song legally for free doesn't mean you can do whatever with it, it's just like a purchase.

If you want to listen to a song on stream that isn't stated to be public domain, you need to ask the artist.

I have seen NO feedback on Edifice outside of pugs. The same thing happened with Ashville.
