There is definitely a little speed boost associated with bhopping something involving doing special stuff. It's not noticeable on Heavy, but somewhat noticeable on Scout.

It was fun originally, and I hope I can make it fun this time.

6s of course, maps don't get tested for HL. They just get put in the UGC rotation.

I remember, back when I was fresh out of Newbie Mixes, I found this pug group called New Map Weekends. Thought it was interesting, so I joined it. Never realized how much I would enjoy them. I wouldn't realize the importance of these pugs until later.

After they suddenly stopped in September, I started testing new maps with the people over at the Power Pugs group. While the admins are pretty great and were cooperative in the time I was admin there, the participants of the pugs were a mix. Some just wanted to troll, and others wanted to play Badlands/Granary. This really shouldn't happen, and part of the problem (I believe) was the fact that these pugs didn't have their own group. After my old computer died back in December and I could not play TF2 until Christmas, the Power Rangers removed my admin (I don't think I ever told them about my computer troubles to be honest...). However, this allowed me to reboot the old pug group. Thus, the Powerpuff Girls new New Map Pugs group was born!

A new group was suggested by Clandestine because he thought that using the old group is like bumping an ancient thread; there is really no denying he's right, it makes sense. So here is the new group:

The first session will be Saturday at 7 pm Friday at 9 pm EST. Maps are not decided yet, but we will play koth_manufacture_a6 (my map). I'll probably be looking for mostly alpha maps that can be more easily changed than beta or RC maps. Maps are cp_granary_pro, cp_wetcoal, koth_manufacture, ctf_turbine2, and cp_edifice.

These pugs should be treated as closely to scrims as possible. I can hear everyone saying now, "Then why don't we just scrim these maps then?" Well, I don't think most teams will bother. Maybe Invite teams will scrim new maps in the offseason, but it's unlikely even for them. So, be serious in these pugs please.

Every week, I will put the map downloads in my Mumble comment. I will also post them here and on the events.

Don't think that's it. Just tested Gangnam Style (yes, I suffered through 5 seconds of it to test this out) and it loaded slowly. Still #1 on the Youtube 100 so I think it's really just random.

Maybe I can use this as an excuse to get my parents to switch to Comcast's 20/4 plan. Last I checked it was cheaper/the same price as what they're paying now for the first 12 months.

Looking for a starting Scout/Medic spot on a low- to mid-Open team.

My previous experience:

1 UGC season starting Scout/Medic (TLK team)
1 UGC season backing up (Victorious Secret)
1 ESEA season backing up (Point n Click)

Also played some highlander as various classes:
1 ETF2L season as whatever
1 UGC season generally as the starting Scout

Currently, I'm available to play/scrim pretty much any day besides Friday/Saturday until 10 pm ET. During the summer (starting May 31), it's pretty much whenever except for Friday/Saturday.

So I can seem to play some videos just fine on 1080p, but others will barely buffer or not buffer at all on 240p.

This sucks, because it's mostly the latter.

It might be AT&T. A lot of people who have problems have U-verse internet (which I have).

Or (most likely) it's because I'm a horrible person.

Getting very slow download speeds on Youtube (Twitch is fine). Can't even watch 240p most times.

Glad Twitch doesn't have a monopoly. They won't be as good as Twitch though because they don't have John. :D

Enigma might want to make sure this site's compatible with it, unless he wants to keep it to Twitch. I don't even remember if Own3d was ever supported.

I'll try to update it tonight. The Asus 144Hz monitor especially needs to be added.
