I don't see much reason to ban weak weapons. I understand people might use it to troll, but there could be a few instances where it could be useful. There so many other ways to throw without using crutch weapons anyways.

Your audio driver probably only supports one input/output at a time. You'll most likely have to get a mic or audio splitter cable. I had a thread somewhat like this just a while back where I asked for software that could split the sound but all I got were plat heavies telling me to buy a mic. So you should probably do that.

I'm currently using Apple Earpods for my games, but I'm in need of a new mic. I'm too lazy to get one, so I've been trying to make my earbuds double up as a mic and audio. Since I don't feel like buying an audio splitter cable, are there any drivers or methods I can use to make my earbuds give in a mic input while taking in audio simultaneously?

sigafoo, just because 7 is a lucky number diesn't mean it'll work. If you want your dreams of TF2's comp scene growing to become realistic, you need the support of Valve. Almost a decade of testing has already said that 6 is the best number for us to play with. TF2's dev team has already implemented competitive and it runs on 6v6, not (9-2)lander.

This is actually pretty interesting, instead of having xbow severely nerfed (crit heals maybe, refer to past 10 threads), we could buff needles and make them viable again. We didn't stop using them because the they got nerfed, they just became obsolete. Medics gave up their option to somewhat reliably protect themselves to switch to an overpowered weapon and keep their teammates healthy. Simply a good damage buff could make a medic with good DM be able to escape some sketchy situations. One of the few things Overwatch did well was giving supports a chance to fend for themselves rather than be a sitting duck. It leads to pretty entertaining gameplay and solves our problem of medic primary choices. But yeah, why doesn't the xbow but crit heal...
