Saw the Monoprice mechanical on MassDrop a while ago, looked really nice.
Probably the only time I'll ever say this, but too bad you don't live in India. You can get a good quality mechanical keyboard with cherry blues for $25-35. Had mine 3 years now and it's still going strong.

Have you considered a gopro? Sensor quality is probably worse than the DSLR, but you'll get a better framerate for sports related stuff.
EDIT: I've only ever used a 7D, 5D and 70D for video, but daylight shooting quality is great if it's slow shots.
