#70 DHW2015 GF: Reason Gaming vs. swedeRage*Essentials.tf*tf2pickup.net in Matches
SideshowThe entire purpose of the event was to prove something to esportunited and sponsors at the event, and build from there. They now want to do bi-annual events at DH with much larger booths and sponsorship than this, so success. There are also a few companies more interested as a result, and an org taking it all bigger. This event wasn't really for the viewers, it's to make our way onto a platform where we will have those viewers.

I now feel a little bad that no one played GPit. Well, at least everyone had fun on Sideshow's nose.

Really proud of what you guys have done for the community.

#69 froyotech disbands in News
4hpLosing froyotech and epsilon within a couple of days is surreal to say the least.

Epsilon wasn't particularly surprising(I think to a lot of people); as soon as the news was out that they'd focus on Overwatch I was sure it was all going to fall apart. Froyotech was quite a surprise as I only really noticed clockwork playing a lot of Overwatch.

PendjiOverwatch? Really? I mean it makes sense. It's the 6v6 format, but in terms of being played on pubs it'll probably become any other shittalk moba. Doubt it'll last long unless Blizzard decides to hold 5 tourneys a year.

Regardless of what happens to Overwatch, I'm interested to see if it will actually manage to retain top level players from more skilled games(Tribes, Quake, TF2). I mean, I get that top level players are probably bored having played their respective games so long, but after having played at that level in games with incredibly high technical-skill ceilings, I wonder how long they'll be able to feel 'challenged' by a game like Overwatch.

At least the particles and effects seem like less of an unholy clusterfuck than Overwatch.

#14 My brain does not feel quite right. in Off Topic

If possible, cut all the processed crap out of your diet, including(and especially) sugar. Get enough sun(15-30 minutes) late morning to early afternoon, sleep 7-9 hours in complete darkness(use an eyemask if you have to) and exercise a bit daily.

Fish oil supplements, or even better, eating oily types of fish are great for brain health, so you might want to look into that.

#55 Maps, Schedule & Whitelist Confirmed for Invitational at DreamHack Winter in News
Hallowi for one support sideshows rushed and very irresponsible decision. gravelpit was voted out for trivial issues and players are children who would never try a new map without being forced. go joshua!

So in other words, Sideshow is the caped, bulldick-eating hero competitive TF2 needs, but not the one we deserve?

Sad to see Sunshine out though, after Valve kind of made it official.

What in the actual fuck? I'm guessing most people just browsed past your comment not realising what an orchiectomy is. And you had a DIY operation? WHAT.

I feel terrible for you.

trashCSGO players saw the prize pool and went in, now emoji is rolling them while still being down one player and heavily offclassing them

poor bastards

What the hell? Is that game still running? That sounds like kind of good exposure for us.

#162 all aboard in TF2 General Discussion
BumFreezei hope if there is an active and inactive map pool, valve will remake inactive maps to try and fix them like in csgo. i think well, freight fastlane etc could be good with changes

I always loved freight because of the hilarity of trains.

I've always hated playing gpit. Kind of neutral about watching it played.
