#1 Open team LF Pocket and Medic in Recruitment (looking for team)

We have a few prospects on both classes, but still looking for more tryouts.

Current roster:

Scout: Reilly
Scout: Sinva
Demo: sweet_tooth
Roamer: SneakyPolarBear
Medic: ???
Pocket: ???

Some previous experience is nice but not required. We are planning to be a high open team that does well in playoffs and moves into Intermediate next season.

For medic we really want someone who has good awareness and a focus on buffing scouts, because that tends to work really well for us.

Everyone contributes to comms, but a player that will call the main pushes and holds is needed. Let us know if you are comfortable with main calling.

#20 Why does everyone edit on Sony Vegas? in TF2 General Discussion

FCP and Premiere are pretty solid depending on what you are editing.

Vegas is a bit simpler, less computer intensive, and also cheaper (i think).

He seems pretty dedicated to improving and also smart in terms of positioning. He will improve quickly on any team.

Mid open pocket from what I have seen. Committed to improving and probably ready for high open by s15.

#158 ESEA S14 Map Discussion in TF2 General Discussion

I find gpit to be one of the most fun maps actually.

You definitely have a few options when defending. In open teams like Hanky Panky did some crazy stuff and then in higher divs there was the iron man strat and different placements for defending. My team had to attack with 5 players so we did some crazy kritz heavy stuff which worked pretty well imo.

Idk how it plays for people more experienced though, just my 2 cents.

Based on what you guys are saying I am probably thinking of someone else. Apologies, good luck, and a free bump.

Should probably play another season of open on roamer before going IM.

#81 Investing! aka the TF2 hat ETF thread in Off Topic

They are pretty fucking risky ghos7. You pretty much have to buy thousands of em, so your risk is multiplied. That said your potential reward is increased as well, just penny stocks are usually shitty and don't profit often.

Salamancer#70 None really, unless you have good sources of insider information that you can make a lot of money.

...and you want to go to jail?

The laws are really fucking strict. Even if you don't originally seek out the info, even if you only prevent loss and don't profit, you can still go to jail.

#86 ESEA S14 Map Discussion in TF2 General Discussion

That seems too complicated to keep track of. Also it's great about the map that you get a clean do-over.

It's also just like every map in that rounds reset. Rolling straight through mid to last in 60 seconds is worth the same as a hard fought back and forth between both lasts where one team gets it done.

Snake out MAYBE if edifice is good enough to replace it. A/D maps are the most fun IMO because you actually have strategic options rather than just deciding which of 2 ways to push etc. I like snake it just seems a bit awkward especially on last and mid.

On that note, snake water pro anyone? Move back forward spawns to like just outside saw (on the side closer to mid).
