pwny_jakeowatyClass selection
Could you provide a screenshot for me? Thanks.

Pixelated (and creepy)
It's not really important, but it's messing with my OCD. I play on highquality, so there is no way it's cfg's fault.
Where should I put it then? I think it's something in ClassSelection.res file. The game itself is alright, it's just the selection screen looking distorted and low-quality.
For some reason the class selection menu renders all classes pixelated. Any way to fix this? I know there is one, but I can't seem to find a correct line for it.
Just played Steel and you know how Steel works around Demo and Heavy classes.
Well, we had to play basically a glorified pub, because we couldn't take the sentry down without a Spy, who was the only class able to take a wrangled lvl 3 sentry.
We couldn't hold the connector, because our Demo wasn't dealing enough damage. Walking there would result in Pyro airblasting to the pit.
I'm playing as Medic, got jumped by a Soldier. He would not be able to kill me if my Heavy could kill him first, but with 50% less damage in the 1st second it was enough for him to send 3 rockets instead of 2, and the 3rd one finally got me.
Now tell me how this update only ruins Demo's and Heavy's life. Whole combo stops being a combo, this powerful unit, because it lacks... Power.
I genuinely think that Valve just wanted to make classes more balanced for the pub play and they don't give (as usual) jack shit about competetive. And if competetive, HL in particular, looks like a pub after those nerfs, then I think they are even more happy.
One thing that makes me proud to be Polish. :)
Okuujakeowatyya_hud 5MDthanks bro. Is this a personal edit? has a health cross and grey ammo reserve
yeah, it is. if you want to change anything, in UI folder there should be a file called hudplayerhealthDEFAULT.res or something similar to that. Simply delete the DEFAULT and you won't have the cross.
To change colors, go to ClientScheme.res. There are instructions how to do everything.
EDIT: Shit, wrong thread.
I'll hop on the bandwagon though, I was always interested in modifying chat's font. Is it possible?
Got it, Firmware was outdated though (V1 instead of V2, which newer monitors of that type have pre-installed). What it does is it does not work with the blurbusters lightboost, so you are stuck to your default settings which not always reduce all the motionblur in the game.
With Quintosh, giving me an hour and a half of his life, managed to update it to Firmware V2, which works with the lightboosting software (the monitor was manufactured in January, that's why V1). It helped me avoid following problems:
- giving it to BenQ and having them install it, which would take 2 weeks at least
- paying additional money for hardware to install it
All I can say: 120/144hz give massive advantage if your PC can support it. MGE should be played on same settings, because even if you are a scrub like myself, you can suddenly track and get all the meatshots and airshots.
Be sure to check the date of manufacturing of BenQ XL2411Z model, it can save you a lot of hassle.
I don't. It's quite cheap and I don't want to spend too much on a monitor.
I own a 60hz BenQ already, not bad, but thinking about upgrading.
