I regret pursuing a BFA in Animation-Illustration and not something that could possibly get me a better job. But I'm not really good at anything else so...

:3 so hard
We've been eagerly awaiting the results. Good job buddy. :3
Well from your post, sounds like you know her well enough or are sort of closer to her. I think if you guys are cool enough to hang around/play cards with often, it'd be a kind of fun idea. But if you're REALLY not sure, I'd just ask her 'Hey I was thinking of going to prom, would you like to go with me?' or something along those lines. If she's your friend I don't think she'd expect something way over the top to get your motive across, she trusts you and has fun with you for being the person you are already! But we'll chat on steam later about that.
Just be sure to not cut it too close to the prom date, we need time to prepare. [My experience... I got asked to a dance once by the guy sitting next to me in math class one year. He asked me to help him with a formula on his graphic calculator, the kinds you can type words on, and it said 'Will you go to the dance with me?'. I would have said yes if he didn't ask like 2 days before the thing.]
It depends on whether or not you plan on continuing playing it. If you think there's a chance you will, I would hang onto it. Though it's possible you can resell the instrument and get a lesser quality one if you want to have one on hand in case. Just be sure to look for one that feels 'comfortable' for you, that's the most important.
What sort of quality is it? And when you say you outgrew it, was it less of a size issue and more of whether or not you want to keep playing it?
[I've had a pretty good quality violin for several years, though I stopped playing it maybe 4 years ago. It's still in my house in case I ever get the urge, but I've mainly kept it because it was a big part of my childhood and I invested 12 years into learning.]
If I'm playing normally then I like some upbeat stuff, a bit of electro swing, a bit of rap, a bit of indie, a bit of 80's/90's alternative, an an odd mashup thrown in here and there. [I actually just downloaded this electro-swing mix earlier today and it's fun to play with] If I'm surfing or whatever, I like some more calm stuff, light jazz, classical guitar, instrumentals, soundtrack stuff, or chillhop.
A few artists I've been playing a lot are Pink Martini, Tycho, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Deluxe, Ratatat, Phantogram, Lemon Jelly.
I'm torn about this. Fortunately I wasn't present when the incident happened, but from what I've heard I'm not sure that was the best thing to do with that many people watching. I think he stepped over the line with the photo, if I was the girl mentioned I would've been very upset.
On the other hand, I had genuinely enjoyed watching his streams in the short period that I did, enough for me to give him a sub. I could see what people liked so much about them, I think he helped people get more interested in the game for sure. The things like demo reviews were helpful, lobbies were fun, and the conversations were pretty fun. I don't know. Whatever happens, it's up to him.

Forgot to post this one. Garda, RJ, and I watching scrims and TOTH in the hotel Sunday evening.
I'd like to work on some more skills before I go pug [stuff like practicing aim, jumping, not dying to stupid things] since I think I should get those basics at a better level. I would rather not subject other people to my lack of aim.
Also I'm not 100 percent sure where to go since most pugs seem to demand a higher level of play than I can give, or they're inhouses.
Here's a few pictures:

It never occured to me to take a photo WHILE there were people sitting. Oh well.
Hey guys, AnAngrySockPuppet posted all of the portrait animations he made for the event's selection menu, check it out!
Hey guys, this was my first LAN ever and this is the most fun I've had in a long long time. Everyone I've met has been really cool, the games were a blast, the multiple streams were fun. Definitely will be going to another as soon as I can, thanks for making the experience great for a newbie player.
[Also Pudding, Max, Stabby, Matt, the guys of team DPI, Slin, London, and eXtine. You guys rock.]
I also have lots of pictures of people sleeping whoops.
Realize that it's okay to feel sad, it's okay to be angry, it's okay to take some time to think and remember your loved ones. I think... just remember how they were able to be a significant part of your life, and you a part of theirs, where you are able to feel such grief after they passed. People handle grief in all sorts of ways, so it's hard for anyone to really tell you how to feel. The feeling of loss may never really leave completely. I'm very sorry that you had to lose so much in such a short period of time.
[Some experience... I lost a good friend last Summer. She lived across the world from me and I had the fortune of meeting her once in person, then she unexpectedly passed. I was very numb for several days after I found out. What helped for me was to think about how fortunate I was to have known her and had great experiences with her, that comforted me, knowing I was able to be happy with her, even for just a little while. I still think about her a lot.]
Noone else from the South Bay Area? [California] :(
I enjoyed watching frag videos and shoutcasts and wanted to play as well as those guys. I was getting a bit bored of pubs and wanted to try something new. It also looked like a lot of fun! Like that was an awesome airshot, and that Scout killed half the team by himself, or that Medic just dodged everything that was trying to kill him and kept his whole team alive... I was hooked.
I just got into the whole comp scene around late last year so I'm still scratching the surface of what it is and learning a whole lot.
I'm really really excited.
Also, I'm still looking for 1 more ticket for a friend!
[Also I think I'm bring some homemade lemon bars if anyone wants one before I eat them all]
