mirroring what others have said, I really enjoyed the articles this season for all divisions. I wouldn not mind donating a few dollars every month if people would like to be compensated for their time to continue them under the tf.tv banner.

I was having intermittent lag spikes (would go up to 600ms+ once-twice every 10 minutes or so) for a while, now. my ISP guy - after giving him plenty of tracert screenshots displaying lag, him have me running a Connection monitoring program, etc. - had zero solutions for me. I googled "intermittent ping spikes gaming" and found out that windows 7 can throttle your bandwidth. following these steps, it appears I have fixed it. unfortunately, this didn't work for grc.
additionally, I have gotten good results by posting my issues on my ISP's specific subforum on this forum. I believe ISP's have higher-trained employees scouring these forums and troubleshooting with customers.
is this faux reel
dumb talk:

disregard opinion
real talk:
brownstone has the DM and game sense to do well on any mid-high open team. great personality and mumble presence, too. luv him
answered honestly, but withheld my full last name. am i in some kind of database now?
someone could correct me if i'm wrong, but i believe it is in:
steam > steamapps > common > team fortress 2 > tf > resource > ui > WaveCompleteSummaryPanel.res
have you not played since the update?
if not, try to go to your ui folder and delete WaveCompleteSummaryPanel.res -- this seemed to be a fix for games crashing after the recent MvM update.
yukiIs this TFTV exclusive casting? Wouldn't mind doing some of the other games if another streamer/caster is keen, IF it's not exclusive.
EDIT: just read that STVs aren't publicly available. Nevermind, I suppose.
yes, that seems strange. it's understandable that every single game cannot be casted by the tf.tv team, but it would be nice to have public STV's for those who wanted to do an impromptu cast, or just have the ability to spectate that particular game.

I only found out about that website like 2 months go been playing tf2 for 3 years
no offense, but even the most basic google search regarding comp tf2 comes up with very helpful results.
my point stands that there is only so much this particular competitive community circle can do. the rest is on the specific player to do their research (it should not be a surprise that basically every video game has at least some competitive niche); and ideally, support from the valve/tf2 team to advertise the competitive game. however, the latter does not appear to be coming to any substantial fruition anytime soon.
loljkSeek professional help.
this. and don't take this as a slap in the face, or him implying you are crazy, etc.
with your last sentence in mind, it appears that you have answered your own question. don't be embarrassed to reach out for professional help and support.
I'm a bit curious how casting/timing will go- which matches will be chosen to have casted, will games be played simultaneously, etc.
either way, looking forward to watching and seeing some good action today.
ulmyxxWe need to help new tf2 player understand comp. Its pretty confusing at first. We need a guide to comp that explains every little bit. Like matches ranking stream. I mean when I started comp I had friends who played comp and taught me, had it not been for them id be playing bf4 right now.
Sorry for bad english

I don't mind discussing this topic, but there's only so much that can be done from within our community-- the rest is on valve/tf2's part. I think the tf2 website makes a post whenever UGC HL's season is about to begin, but I don't see them speak much of competitive aside from that.
