CHERRYjoejoe347CHERRYjoejoe347This may have been asked before, but I'm not searching through 25 pages to find the answer.
Is there any reason ugc gold hl matches aren't on saloon? In my opinion nothing under the top level of a league should be bet on, but if you have esea im matches why not add gold too? I'm sure they'd have plenty of interest.
UGC Gold is far below IM so I don't quite get comparison.
If I get back to adding ETF2L High 6v6 matches and when AF comes back with OWL we'll have plenty of matches not to distract users with lower leagues. Amount of matches we add don't really increase proportionally amount of bets.
I'm not making a direct comparison, it's different game modes so you can't really do that, I'm just saying that if post matches in one lower level league, why not the other? I understand if you are worried about level of competition or something so maybe only post playoffs?
Jon says you can compare them and I trust him :D
Well it is a level of competition that matters, but also games being casted, games being most relevant to their region or gamemode. 6v6 has much bigger following which is why we can add bets for IM or ETF2L High. I'd order our (or at least mine) priority list in this way:
ESEA Invite, ETF2L Premiership 6v6,
ETF2L Premiership HL, UGC Platinum NA HL, OWL, AsiaFortress
ESEA IM
ETF2L High
LBTF2
This list doesn't reflect sympathies though it's all about the numbers as we manage to hit the limit with IM (even if not consistently) and get 2 times the amount of bets than with Platinum so I don't see Gold as something worth investing time in.
EDIT: Though it's definitely a possibility to have bets for playoffs as those usually attract more viewers.
Alright thanks for the long reply. I understand the limitations, gold playoffs would be great.
In regards to the amount of bets that might be placed on gold matches I've noticed after playing in both gold and plat that gold players are usually far more active in the community, which could affect betting. Also I think EVL might start casting gold games every week.
