thorn_If anyone at the Hampton has a standard Philips screwdriver I can borrow really quick, come to room 415. Need to open my case. If my computer doesn't work you can see me rage and throw it out the window for free!

I have one if you can wait until tomorrow morning. I'm getting to my hotel at 11ish so I'm probably going right to sleep.

RJOne thing I should note: Credits to you, mojoe, for making a democall and turning it into a video in less than a week! (Link to the democall thread.) That's one amazing amount of concentrated effort!

Yeah, when I wasn't doing homework I pretty much edited the video, for like 4 days strait lol.

TheFragilemannn, I forgot to send clips in :(

Those of you who forgot to send stuff, don't worry. This has gotten a great responds, so I'm sure I'll do a second volume at some point.

As for a download, the best I can do is 40fps, which is definitely an improvement over 60, but not great. I'll have that up in an hour or 2.

Gunbladethat was great, i think you should've emphasized on ayr's surf on process 2nd abit more (i felt like the 3rd person shot kinda took away from the surf) as he was left on like 3hp when he hit the roller door into sewers

Yeah, I see what you mean. I did the third person shot so show how he was actually being propelled by not just the rocket, but the scout shooting him. I think he would have come up just short of the ledge if the scout wasn't there.

Anyways, thanks for the complements everyone, I really appreciate it!

Bump, I've got a lot of fantastic stuff, but could still use a few more demos. The video is looking great so far though.

#1 Medic demo call in Videos

Hey people. I'm making a medic frag movie, and I need demos. Originally it was only going to be me, but my hard drive died, so I lost most of my old demos.

Anyways, I'm looking for generally cool medic stuff; clutch frags, surfs, dodging, arrow heals, that sort of thing. Highlander/6s/4s(lol)/ultiduo are all welcome.

You can post demos here or message them to me, idc. Just make sure you get me the tick somehow, be it here, or in the demo.

I was bored today, so I started on an intro:

Thanks

reillydashnerWhich is also a fun time to remind everyone that you should probably have everything you need for this LAN downloaded to your PC or on removable storage so you won't be running into any issues with slow download.
On this topic, does anyone who frequents LANs have a checklist of some sorts? Both hardware and things such as configs. I'd rather not forget anything I might need just because I didn't realise I need it.

Other than the obvious things like a mouse and keyboard (don't be that guy who forgets his keyboard), here's a list of stuff you should remember:

[*]Ethernet cable

[*] Windows install disc (Useful if your/a buddy's computer blows up)

[*] Flash Drive

[*] ALL OF YOUR DRIVERS on said flash drive! Most lans don't have good internet, if they have any at all. In the case that your windows install does blow up, it's good to have your important drivers on a flash drive, because you can't always download them.

[*] tf2/other games cfg on flash drive

[*] Extra dvi cables. I've had a friend of mine's monitor cable die at lan. Bring extra's if you have them.

[*] If you have an ssd that doesn't have anything important on it for the lan, it might be a good idea to remove it. Although theft usually isn't a problem at lans, there are shitty people in this world, and an ssd is really easy to grab.

[*] If you have a big external hard drives/extra hard drives, it's a good idea to have steam backups of tf2, because lan download speeds are terrible.

[*] Pillow for your ass. Lan seats aren't that amazing.

[*] In general, if you have extras of things, bring them. Never know what's going to break, and ruin your weekend.

[*] If you're under 18 I think the even requires a waver signed by a parent.

If I think of more stuff I'll add it, and I see now that Fragile is making a big list too, so that will probably be more complete.
