I have played with lawn a bunch of times and I've known him since all the way back when he was in ugc 6s beating my team. From my experience, he is a nice and cool guy. He likes to have fun and won't rage. He's also a pretty good scout.
SneakyPolarBearSeems like a day of open discussion on gay rights (NOT on the offensiveness of the word "faggot") would be a lot more beneficial in terms of preventing the ostracism of gay people than a day of silent solidarity with LGBT youth.
I agree with this sentiment. However, it is very difficult for a lot of people to talk about this sort of stuff openly (and not just on an internet forum). LGBT is still an awkward conversation a lot of times (and a hostile one some of the times), especially when you are or think you are or know someone who is lgbt. By all accounts, I wish it wasn't. Still, Day of Silence recognizes this difficulty and allows people to show their support for lgbt individuals such as myself without crossing a bridge they are not ready to cross for whatever reason (and I'll say that they have good reasons).
What we must also realize is that LGBT is already making headlines left and right so it is difficult to keep it out of conversation. I believe that the Day of Silence is becoming rapidly antiquated.

ques is at prom
so cute
and that's bad news bears for mixup
mustardoverlordstill, it's pretty funny that this argument started on the actual day of silence and is still going now
I'd just be appreciative if we could get away from the whole gay=bad thing. We have a lot of words that mean bad. However, we also have a lot of words that mean good. For example, chocolate. No one will say that "Your jumps are like chocolate" if they are trying to shit talk. Or even words that are neutral. "You jump like a mailman." That just doesn't make sense. I want it to get to a point where if someone says "you jump like a faggot" people are like "that just doesn't make sense."
IMO, the community is doing a pretty good job at phasing out gay slurs. The people who use them are now in the minority and often illicit condoning remarks from others. The streamers and casters are especially conscious of it. All of them call people morons/idiots/etc instead of faggots. IIRC, when seanbud did the map reviews this season, he'd call hiding spots cheap or dumb instead of gay like what they were called for a while.
I cannot speak to the how the community feels about lgbt rights on the whole but as a bi guy I'm happy with the progress made here thus far.
close to a decision. still would be appreciative of IM tryouts.
brah secure game servers
does this mean just the ones that are vac protected? like that little shield in the browser?
KaeyelIs there a way to group youtube channels together? I can't remember.
I think something like this would be better. Having a central place for everyone's channels is just like how tftv is a central place for everyone's stream.
kirbythe headshot on that scout rofl i would have just quit

You gotta think that it could have been a lot worse.
edit:
1 of the found and dismantled bombs was beneath the grandstands. fuck.
