S1 :)
fk1 doesnt feel big at all tbh za11 is way too unwieldy
AMCI might be able to go up a few hundred but not much more. I just literally don't have the caps.
on a budget of 1500, I would personally look for a chevy prizm (rebranded corolla) an old nissan sentra manual, or old nissan pathfinder
even just 1 grand more gives you way more luxury. a quick check on craigslist found me a honda fit in good condition, 99k miles listed at $2900. that car will last until 300k+ with regular oil changes.
comparatively, i found a corolla for 1200 with 230k miles. for how soon you'll have to pay at least a few hundred more in repairs, it wont be worth the savings. a car is a car though, so just make sure you shop around and it'll be an invaluable asset regardless :)
also if you get him an old car make sure to get a club steering wheel lock + lojack and etc or it will be stolen, car thieves target older hondas/subarus/toyotas way more than any other make. try to at least get a car new enough that it has a transponder key and not a mechanical one
insurance companies with OBDII trackers like metromile are good anti theft
t. former owner of 1995 honda odyssey
definitely spend more than 1k
my hands hurt from playing too much guitar and melee
he's right about everything. tf2 is forgettable for a lot of reasons
