Hello, quite a while ago i bought up that red bull was making a gaming sphere in London and that it would be fit for some kind of tf2 event.
I spent over a year playing smash ultimate and went to a lot of London events one of which was hosted weekly at this venue, so i'm here to share some more information.
essentially it is owned by red bull and generates no money, people can visit at any point during it's opening hours and use the facilities, they have a multitude of every type of console along with high power pc's and high refresh rate monitors keyboards mice gaming chairs etc etc, they pretty much have everything, in addition to this, they have capture cards as well as microphones and an entire sound isolated casting booth with cameras set up with capture cards you can link to specific setups outside within the main room, now as far as i am aware the entire venue is non profit or at the very least extremely low profit, you could show up on any day free of charge use anything they had, i used to often go just for practicing smash and i would often see people running their personal twitch streams from the venue using the computers cameras microphones and capture cards they have all kinds of facilities for people to use and I am fairly certain the entire point of this venue is simply for growing the esports culture within london and to a lesser extent the uk and europe.
regardless, I am extremely certain that this venue would be quite good for some form of tf2 event and if not for free it could be ridiculously cheap for an extremely high quality legit setup, so maybe after lockdown, some kind of lan or etf2l finals or something could be played there, i encourage event organisers to look into the venue or maybe contact some of the staff who own it.
