I was told he was thinking of quitting, but this soon? Come on.
When it comes to DM, you can always visit a DM server.
eXtv Dallas DM - 96.8.114.70:27015
eXtv Chicago DM - 199.21.112.8:27015
RedTerror's DM - 216.168.130.229:27015
Fog's DM Dallas - 74.91.114.228:27015
Fog's DM Chicago - 64.74.97.61:27015
SYOPS DM - 74.91.114.64:27015
The eXtv DM servers are the most populated out of all of these, so I would recommend those two the most. Use these to help practice aiming better. If you're DM isn't that bad but you have quirks you'd like to fix, this is also a good place to go. Flick aim too much? Try tracking with SMG sniper or pistol scout, or just use the scattergun and try to force yourself to not flick. That being just an example.
You can also visit an MGE server, as much as I suggest not doing too often unless it's just4fun.
MGE iT - 74.91.122.39:27015
Reddit MGE Atlanta - 173.234.164.114:27205
TopNotch MGE - 68.68.32.209:27015
MultiCraftMC MGE - 64.74.97.59:27015
West TOO MGE - 64.94.101.38:27015
Otherwise, all I can say about DM is to just let it ride out. The more you DM and the more you just play against anyone that isn't a pub player will make your DM better over time.
I would volunteer to help more, but I don't really have the time right now and there are more creditable players around too. Good luck finding someone!
Found this on a website.
1. Make sure you're not blocking UDP packets going to or coming from the port the server is using.
2. In the advanced client settings, go to Network, and disable "Use Quality of Service". Apply changes, reconnect, and check if that helps.
3. Disable personal firewall software, or firewall features on the router. Check if there's "stateful packet inspection" or "heuristic" filtering features, or things like "DoS protection", and disable those.
4. Check if there's a firmware upgrade for your router.
In the advanced client settings, go to Network, and enable "Force TCP mode". Apply changes, reconnect, and check if that helps.
We need Pro Like Chro and Insane Like Train back :(
Also, SaltySally, please never say nerd stars again.
#4 Just use Mibbit. You could use atf2, I'm just not a personal fan of the look.
1. Mibbit.com
2. Launch App
3. Connect: GameSurge [webirc], Nickname, Channel: #tf2mix / #tf2.pug
4. (Optional Step) https://gamesurge.net/newuser/ - Use this to register an account with GameSurge. Being registered to GameSurge allows you to be OP'd, given voice, and allows your pug stats to be tracked in a channel that has stats.
5. Once in the channel, type !add "class" (without quotations).
6. (Additional Commands) !players - used to see who is added and as what, !last - used to see when the last pug started, !status - used to see which servers are empty and which servers are being used, !map - used to see what the next map is, !mumble - used to get Mumble info, and !ip - used to see the IP of the next server that will be used
No problem! If you have any questions in the future, I will try to answer them as much as I can.
Can you turn off auto reload when you record? It prevents your viewmodels from glitching like that.

Sharing this because more people need to see it.
It was the stepping stone to this wonderful website. And that's all it ever was.
i'll pull through man i got this
I'm looking to roam for a mid to high(?) open team. I'd prefer being on a team whose players are well coordinated with each other and a team who has a positive and relaxed environment.
I've played scout for Slanted s10 and scout for Impulse Gamers s12. I have no real league experience with soldier, but I'm confident in my DM and my roam/overall game sense.

pick me up
edit: i guess i'll continue scouting depending on who asks
Is there even a new A/D map around? I don't think someone digging the grave of an older A/D map that has never really been tested and probably isn't finished as a good idea.
