When I coached, there were more than enough times were the team as a whole decided to do something other than what I had suggested. And this isn't a bad thing. There are coaches for a reason, but if teams can synchronize properly and all agree on what they want to do, I think that is great because they're learning in a way a coach necessarily cannot teach them right on the spot. Otherwise, I agree with people needing to listen to the coaches more.
