It's hard to understand until you have to give it up and you completely get it so *respect* right back at you. As I have said in a couple places already... I am no longer giving out ftp. You need to download everything from the download linked in the first post (and about 10 other times throughout the thread)

Just a heads up - i see my 10 friend invites and the 30 steam messages... just got home from work and have at least 3 hours of work for work now that im home so i probably wont respond to anyone tonight. SORRY!!!!

Also I wont be giving out ftp anymore... lange and conductor are AMAZING and are putting together downloads for everything. Thank you both as usual... without you guys the servers wouldnt be running (and a lot of other people but these two guys... <3 ) Ummm but yeah just a reminder the servers are going to be up for at least another month... some almost 2 months - so please calm down! We will make sure everyone is set before the lights go out for good.

Regarding the whole thing about my ego and whatnot... ya it is a pride thing. Those servers were my babies and I worked hard to get them populated (even going as far as putting up banner ads on other tf2 websites). I don't want to hand that over to someone else who could completely destroy what I worked so hard to build. These were my children and I loved them... so yeah I am extremely proud of what they became. The reason I even made this post was to give people an opportunity to get what they need instead of just shutting down with no heads up... not to get bashed for my decision.

Sorry iT's happening and sorry if you're mad at me. Also I see all of your friend requests and messages and like I said I will get to them when I can.... I shouldnt even be up right now but for some reason I couldnt sleep.

Ive spent 3 years building up the name and a certain expectation with the name... so yeah a lot of it is with the name. And I wouldnt want someone just taking my IP's and putting some other name on it. Thats why I am more than willing to give people all of the resources to create their own servers.

Sorry if that seems greedy on my part... but it did take many years to get the servers to where they are and I *hope* the name is remembered as a place with good servers because of all the work we put into them.

Thanks for the offers to help with keeping them up, but as far as the iT servers go their time is over. You are all more than welcome to get whatever you need from them though for new servers... and just to answer the questions I am getting nonstop its not about the money - I am almost never online anymore and when I do get online all I have are messages about the servers. It has been a very fun journey but I am not looking for people to help run them or help finance them... its time to retire!! <3

Hey guys - the time has finally come for me to shut down the iT servers... I just dont have the time / resources to keep them up. I wanted to make a post here though in case anyone wants ftp access to them before they go down (in case anyone wants to put up new surf servers or whatnot). Anyways thanks for all the support over the years and I love you all.

SuSurf iT and Surf iT EU were graciously provided by tragicservers.com so I will have to update with the dates for those but yeah... add me if you want ftp access to any of these servers to get their info. If it takes me a few days to add back / reply to you its just because I am not home much anymore... don't take it personally :P

They said no paypal / cc info was stored with acct info so you should be good. For PCI Compliance purposes I would hope they don't store that info on the same server, if they even store it themselves.
