I don't really want to speak too soon without any evidence that I can follow through (this could already be being done for all I know), but I'm trying to look into essentially turning my NFO pub server into a jump server (or possibly surf if that doesn't pan out) equivalent of iT.

I haven't talked to klanana yet at all and it's simply an idea at this stage, but my goal would essentially be for no noticeable change compared to the old servers (in current active admins/plugins/etc) but have it just be under the Tip of the Hats name.

I say this really tentatively though, because I can easily forsee it being a huge undertaking to port over the entirety of it and talk to the old admins to see if they're willing to help along with it still, but hey hopefully something will come of it :)

Why am I up at 3am posting when I have to be up in 2 hours for work? lol

Regarding the whole thing about my ego and whatnot... ya it is a pride thing. Those servers were my babies and I worked hard to get them populated (even going as far as putting up banner ads on other tf2 websites). I don't want to hand that over to someone else who could completely destroy what I worked so hard to build. These were my children and I loved them... so yeah I am extremely proud of what they became. The reason I even made this post was to give people an opportunity to get what they need instead of just shutting down with no heads up... not to get bashed for my decision.

Sorry iT's happening and sorry if you're mad at me. Also I see all of your friend requests and messages and like I said I will get to them when I can.... I shouldnt even be up right now but for some reason I couldnt sleep.

KanecoSorry if I'm misunderstanding but are you stepping down of tf2 completely, meaning will iT be sponsorless, etc? Or are you just stopping with the servers?

Because just weeks ago you "carried the flag" with the CEVO stuff and were a important piece in that transaction.

Never used the servers since im EU but I know they were high quality and had a very loyal community

I am retiring from all of tf2 after this season of ESEA... and I am not sure if you are thinking of Nahanni or if you are confusing me with someone else but I didn't post a single thing about any of the CEVO / ESEA stuff =/

I'd like to have FTP info. I have access to a VDS (hosted by NFO, based in NY) that can hold up quite a few servers and it's barely used. I could put up 3 or 4 servers depending on how many resources they take up.

I'm not saying I need the servers but am not willing to front the money to run them. I haven't used the iT servers in quite a while, minus mge iT. This is a good opportunity for an active community to fill need and get their name out there. Regardless of what happens I won't really be affected. So when I say tf.TV, I mean tf.TV.
