We had a string of ffw's that we all showed up ready to play and had no word from the other team they wouldn't show up. They only had 1 or 2 FFL's up to that point so they weren't yet marked dead. They just never responded and I don't want to be rude and start asking them in match comms if they are dead :(
Network Security Engineering, team lead, for the 3rd largest IT company in the world. And I get work from home. I'm pretty lucky :)
Space is a great player we just happen to play way to late for his new work schedule. GL man!
Soup8kuzawhy would anyone care about how old they are playing TF2? It doesn't prevent you from getting laid, lol.neither did we say to act rude dude

In no way was I being rude. Rude would be me saying I didn't realize 16 yr old's these days were illiterate.
why would anyone care about how old they are playing TF2? It doesn't prevent you from getting laid, lol.
mif i was a guy who looked like a 36 year old albino lesbian id probably go after the lowest hanging fruit as well
double diss to all parties involved, ouch!!
wow I hope this works out better than it seems right now, good luck man.

Having a family limits the amount of time I can play. But, family > tf2 :)
(Most days)
Kuza! We aren't the oldest anymore! Rejoice!
But no seriously, good for you man. As I posted before, I'm 31. While that's an unusual age for a gamer, it won't be for long. esports is still relatively young, and I got started with the original team fortress mod when I was a teenager, when esports was literally JUST starting to become a thing. Most of the people posting in this thread will still be playing games when they reach our ages too.
I didn't think it was possible, but I am glad I'm not the oldest anymore :)
And for more older folks like us, finding time if the hard part. I'm lucky I work from home so I don't have to to travel to work each morning.
you did just quit and have been trying to quit smoking. I'm guessing you're body is adjusting to it. It'll probably level out once you've quit for a couple weeks.
Ruwin is one of the best scouts in the game, so if he believes Soldier > scout, I would tend to trust his opinion. At badlands mid the soldier can also jump to a house to grab a health pack in 2 seconds where the scout has to run there.
The scout needs to get the jump on the soldier to secure the kill. The soldier just has to bounce the scout with 1 rocket to get the kill. So the soldier does have the upper hand.
there was a big event there so this was just part of it. I think it's a great way to get a lot of advertising out of 10grand.
DroidsterkuzaI think there should also be less "live" streams. Since pauses and live streaming comes with a few pitfalls. If they would do the cast, then cut it all together with nice camera angles, slow downs and some prep time to go over what's going to be discussed it would make for a much better production.
I really don't think this is a good idea, one of the main reasons that I watch TF2 matches is the fact that what is on the screen is happening right now and that just adds to tension of close matches. At the end of the ETF2L highlander final last season when DAROUTOUTOU had almost pushed the cart to the final point and with 16 seconds to go TviQ went huge and almost stopped the push I was going crazy to see if SNSD could actually be beaten. Because I was seeing it live it was so much more exciting, I never feel like that when I'm watching a post produced vod and I can rarely watch a full match after it has happened. The interaction with the casters in the chat also makes the games much more interesting to me.
I'm not saying "doing it live" isn't exciting, I'm saying the level of production will skyrocket with less live streaming. In order to do live broadcasts you would need someone in a control booth constantly watching all 12+1 camera angles at once and constantly calling which camera to switch too in order to make it the way you see sports on live TV to draw in the more casual viewer.
I avoid watching live streams now because of the countless hours I've spent watching dead air, waiting for players to show up and sitting through pauses.
