Emulating anything in PS2/GC era is kind of a waste of time unless it's like melee or something you know is going to work. There are too many issues to make playing games enjoyable, I don't really want to have to worry about fucking with emulator settings or waiting for game breaking bugs. A lot of games will "work" and there's pretty good wiki/documentation for PCSX2 but most of my experiences have been bad.
Anything before that though is a pretty safe bet, like SNES/N64/GBA/PSX etc.
ShdSteelSnapethe new tomb raider is -50% off, tho it's still pretty expensive. Its rise of the tomb raider, right? Is it worth it to get if I've never actually played any of the other games?
the weeb tank simulator game! bought it to my gf
It's technically a sequel to the one that came out in 2013 which started the "reboot" of the series, but the story only makes small references to that one and the story isn't really the selling point of the game anyway. You can play it completely fine, but the first one is good as well (and only 5 dollars rn) so I'd probably just play them both.
Gameplay in XV is very fun in all aspects, the open world stuff is great. There is a couple of bugged quests and the camera is an exercise in frustration in some of the dungeons that have confined areas.
The story starts out very slow, not much at all happens in the first like 5-10 hours of the game. I think a lot of the worldbuilding and setup of the story is done through Kingsglaive which is a shame because it is terrible, I wish they just included more background to the beginning of the game. It gets better as the game goes on though and it becomes more linear in the later chapters.
Overall it's pretty good but I wish it was longer in terms of the main story. There's a lot to do in the open world stuff obviously but the main quest/story is really short.
mintcakesultyIs it good?
ff14 is just a collective of the most degenerate weebs u can imagine they all just wanna be anime roleplayers over playing the game (every pugalist)
the end game raids are fun but its not worth it
also nobody mentioned FF14 theyre talking about this

solathinking of picking up the game
tftv's thoughts?
If you like battlefield then it's definitely the best one since bad company 2, it runs super well and i like the feel of the gameplay a lot.
They need to fix a few UI issues and the load times can be pretty painful... before moving game to my SSD (which I didn't want to do since its like 50GB) it would literally take 5 minutes to load into each game. On SSD it's maybe 2.
raw input off is probably part of it, and if you have a fast inches per 360 it's going to be incredibly hard to be consistent at sniper/scout unless you have tons and tons of hours on those settings
judging by your profile it doesnt seem like you have many hours at all, so just keep practicing and consider turning on raw input/lowering your sens
Tino_lumieresjesus those hosts were really patronizing to be honest, reminds me of speaking to my grandparents about video games or somethingI mean what do you expect from day time TV hosts? That is the go to thing for them regardless of the situation.
you handled yourself really well on live TV though
you're right in the sense that they shouldn't be expected to know the subject matter but i guess my problem was more that like every single time they spoke it was low-key trying to insult an entire generation of people like "wait you mean people actually left there house" or they were genuinely surprised that extine dressed decently and expected him to look like a turbo nerd
i don't expect them to know anything about e-sports or specific video games but the way they spoke just showed they were out of touch with an entire generation not just video games

jojo is my boy, one of the best friends i've made in tf2. he is kind of brutally honest at first but once you befriend him he's a great guy (he is a "tsundere" if u will)
in terms of gameplay i don't think he's had a lot of chances to show how good he is, he seems to have liked playing with friends or helping people out. but pick him up on scout if you want someone that will perform super consistently at high open+ level
if your arms are flat across your desk/mousepad or not touching the desk (above) then it's fine
it's only really bad if the edge of the desk pushes into your wrist or forearm, that means you're sitting way too low and it's going to fuck up your circulation and give you carpal tunnel most likely.
I had to turn off the "high quality streaming" option in the settings otherwise the spotify client gave me terrible ping spikes. Not the same issue but may be worth a try anyway, it shouldn't be utilizing very much of your CPU.
At bottom of the advanced options there is also hardware acceleration, i'd try turning that off as well
bump would like to play scout next season, haven't played in awhile
in the meantime while this season finishes, if anyone needs a sub/ringer in open add me. Can pay league fees and stuff if I need to.
