tf2 is still by far the friendliest and most helpful community of any comp game by far

im not saying we shouldnt strive to be even moreso, but the idea that the community has grown more sour/unwelcoming now NOW than it used to is laughable at best

newbie mixes are huge
theres more low level pugs/mentoring opportunities than there ever have been before
the only place i can thing of thats been even relatively anti-noob is tf2.pug.na which is rightfully how it should be, experience players shouldnt have to deal with soldiers that cant rollout and scouts that are constantly dead in the only "higher level" public pickup channel

if you dont need lots of bells and whistles, just get a good amp instead of a soundcard

ive tried carcharias/siberias/every gaming headset on ever and none have been nearly as comfortable as my hd555s nor have they sounded half as good

thats great that you like your razer products and steelseries gaming gear but we are talking about sound and comfort here- two things those companies are really bad at

siberias are really fucking bad

stick to sony/at/sennheiser and grab a modmic/zalman

the upside is that the enemy's head turns into the size of a small planet when you use the huntsman so it takes aiming out of the equation
