tf2 has done nothing but slowly grow literally the entire life of the game, both competitively and casually

it will continue to do this for a pretty long time

also, you guys underestimate how big the dota playerbase is/how deep the game is

just from a mathematical standpoint there are literally billions different hero comps/builds you could use that would be viable at least SOME of the time

the interest may wane in a few years in na, but as far as sea/china/malaysia/eu/russia those dudes are gonna be playing dota 2 for 10+ years easy

the best way to get better is to play against people who are a little better than you
