ninjanickTeams aren't signing up for cevo. Esea announced their prize pot for s18 but hasn't announced anything tf2 related yet. Things are looking grim :\.
As long as there are 50 teams or whatever the required number is there will be another season they said
its too bad that sfm was made with us as exertus and then a week later we're elevate, because that shit is too hype
Definitely add an overlay with the tourny bracket and a timer until the next match in-between games
I really don't see how spending an extra 20 dollars to play in an organized tournament with your friends, even if you only play 3-4 games and don't make it out of the group stage just crosses the line, and if you really can't afford to spend an extra 20 dollars in a position that you know you'll lose and don't want to just play for the hell of it and have fun, than you shouldn't be spending a ton of money to attend a lan in the first place.
Also if there are 20 teams, if its done with 5 groups of 4, there will likely be 1 maybe 2 at most invite caliber teams in a group, so there will still be good competition between non invite teams and fragile said there will be top 16 with a losers bracket as well. A majority of non invite teams will make it through the groups and then even if they lose to invite teams, continue to play in the lower bracket. And as dash said, there are prizes even if you come in last place.
do you really think people are just going to stop playing tf2 as soon as they're knocked out of the one tournament? people will be starting pugs and other events playing tf2 all weekend long.
and also about the cevo lan finals, I know you don't want to watch the nerds play the finals but I know that a lot of other people would enjoy watching the teams play live, and people who don't want to watch the teams play live will be pugging etc.
Looks really amazing, good work man. I think if you can though, you should definitely start with esea matches before cevo matches, right now much more esea is being covered than cevo
I miss the casts that had sigma in them to provide some insight post round etc, which is also why I'm bringing this up to those of you who watch CSGO; am I insane or for roomonfire/niptv the guy vendetta that provides insight into rounds post round which is what sigma did for tf2 sound exactly like sigma? Can someone confirm if I'm insane or not or does sigma have an exact clone but instead of tf2 hes the csgo genius
CHERRYMa3laaDo you know how the betting is going to work 100%? Is it just going to be like csgo lounge with the amounts of bets per team determining the percent or value of items you can win from the bet? It'll work that way, I even already made a script distributing items between winners, so that part is quite done.
Awesome, and I'm also wondering what you will do about betting unusuals and how items will be valued. Are you going to do something similar to csgo lounge how knives are not allowed to be bet so maybe higher tier unusuals cant be bet or something like that?

truktrukMa3laaeXtv and TFTV step up the casting game because it would be a shame to see so many important matches go to waste only casting one match a week waiting for mixup vs froyo.
I kinda feel slighted by this comment since all the production is volunteered time and effort. I definitely plan on doing casts this season but to me it's of a matter of getting more people involved. If high level players want to step in and cast a handful of times each this season it would definitely help enigma get more casts up and going. Maybe you could cast a game or two this season when you're not playing your matches. It's a community effort, and it's going to remain that wayShow Contentuntil TF3 comes out and we all become esports millionaires.
I'm not taking away from the hard work that the people who do the production and casts have been doing, it'd just be nice to see more people casting consistently for those organizations. I've casted many times in the past and would again but its hard to cast with a match every night of the week. I just hope more people will step up
This is the only season (at least in my time in the community) in which you could seriously cast every single game because really almost any team could beat any team and every single match has some major playoff implication. Just look at the lineup of matches this week, there isn't a single one that should be missed, they all actually matter and thats how the season is going to be.
