most smart places will just include the tip in the "total owed" for the driver at the end of the night and allow them to take credit card tips out of the cash they received for orders paid in cash

when i was delivering pizzas for like ~6 months there was a regular couple that every friday would order $40+ in food and then pay entirely in change. that order got ignored by all the drivers for a longgggggggggggggg time every week.

uhhh no one in the tf2 community has threatened to murder me + my family or rape my mom...that was like a daily occurrence for the ~5 years i played cs/css.

people get upset over legitimate trash talk like "you're bad at video games" in tf2...

cevo and esea's moveup rules are almost identical. the only reason teams are just "getting in" to main this season because it's the first season. in cevo you are allowed to refuse a moveup and play in the same division again after winning it.

i don't understand why shocka is so mad invite players arent like running down open players and begging to help them.

why are you not losing your shit on IM & main players for not helping lower level players? main can help im, im can help open, etc. you fucking act like invite is the ONLY place low level folks can go for help. it's not.

i've worked in the food service industry for the past ~7 years (part of high school and while im finishing up college) so i'm a heavy tipper. i generally start at ~30% and let servers work their way down via fuck ups (empty drink sitting on table too long, messing up order, just being a shitty server in general, etc) and if they do an impeccable job they get 30% so good for them.

i also like to frequent the same few really good places around me, so if the first time i go in and drop a 30-40% tip i know the next time i go in i will get fast, quality service. i've also gotten a LOT of free shit on return trips to restaurants/bars/etc from tipping steep.

befriend waitstaff/bartenders, tf.tv, that shit pays dividends. a local pub i go to i get buy 1 get 3 free every single time i go there now because of steep tipping.

i'll be sure to send them all postcards from dallas, don't worry.
